## Description

Elevate your custom automotive paint job with Custom Shop Mid-Coat Clear for Flake/Pearl – Intercoat Clear Auto Paint, Quart Size. Designed for professional results, this premium-quality mid-coat clear is the perfect solution for applying metallic flake, pearl, or candy pigments between your basecoat and clearcoat layers. Whether you're working on a full-body respray, custom motorcycle, or detailing a show car, this intercoat clear delivers maximum control, adhesion, and brilliance. Formulated using high-performance resins, Custom Shop Mid-Coat Clear provides excellent transparency and suspension qualities, allowing metallic flakes and pearls to lay evenly and showcase their full depth and vibrancy. It creates a smooth, controllable surface for layering effects or blending custom graphics, flames, or fades without disturbing the underlying base color. Unlike traditional clearcoats, this mid-coat is designed for intermediate application stages and is not intended as a final topcoat. This intercoat clear is VOC compliant, easy to mix (2:1 with Custom Shop Urethane Reducer), and compatible with most solvent-based basecoat systems. Its quick flash times, low build, and sandability make it an essential tool for custom paint jobs requiring multiple layers or intricate designs. It offers excellent flexibility, chemical resistance, and UV stability when used within a complete urethane paint system. Custom Shop Mid-Coat Clear is ideal for use with dry or liquid pearls, micro-sequins, or flake additives. It’s your go-to solution when you need that extra pop of brilliance or depth before sealing your project with a durable topcoat clear. Trusted by custom painters, hot rod builders, and restoration pros, this product gives your creative vision the high-impact finish it deserves.
