Using a damp cloth, brush off any dirt or debris from the article to be polished. Next, apply a leather cleaner and/or conditioner if desired. Wait for the item to fully dry. Before beginning to work with polish, cover your work surface with newspaper to prevent staining and for easy cleanup. Repeat if necessary, applying a second thin layer. Place shoes on newspaper and allow to dry for 10-20 mins.
