He's a stubborn jerk though and always manages to drool some of the thick, syrupy medicine out of his mouth and onto his his coat. What makes matters worse is he's a longhair so he'd get all matted up and we'd have to cut chunks of fur off him and he'd end up looking like a homeless kitty. We got fed up of him looking in such a bad state like we weren't taking care of him properly so we decided we had to give him a hand with cleaning his coat. We picked this shampoo because it was all natural and we thought it would smell good and we were right, it has a fresh and appealing scent. It foamed up into a lather quite nicely and and we were able to really rub it into his coat. After the obvious trauma of the bath itself and the subsequent drying, Sammo's coat looked wonderful and he was so happy! He looked really great for the first time in a while and he was in great spirits, totally in love with us for making him look so good. It did a great job getting the nasty, sticky medicine out of his fur and leaving his coat soft and luxurious and giving us a very happy cat to boot.
