Filters well, but takes long to do so
These Amazon Basics filters fit perfectly in my 10-cup Brita filter. There was no black/carbon residue in my filtered water. The filtered water tastes as good as it did with the official filters. Can I say that it's actually filtering just as good? No. I use my water filter to filter out the musty smell in my well water and this filter did that just as good as the official brand.I gave it 4 stars only because it does take significantly longer to filter the water than the Brita filters. Normally I don't mind waiting, but it takes a very long time to get a full jug compared to using the Brita filters, it gets a bit annoying.
