I opened it in the living room & immediately saw 2 moths flying around I walked to the living room closet to hang. Changed my mind & put it in the living room. See the photo: I opened it 1 hour ago. Where are they coming from? Wish I knew. No idea if this will solve the problem so can't properly rate it. Update: I took advice from reviews & only opened 2 traps. I will replace in 3 mos opening 2 more new traps and continue till I've used all 6. I dont understand the reviews that state they dont work. I continue to see more moths in the traps; i deployed them a few weeks ago. When I decided to try these traps , I only saw a few moths in a 3 week period. No idea that there were so many more present in my home.

I was skeptical, but these worked so well, it was almost scary. Moths flew at me when I was opening the first batch of traps. Honestly, I hadn't thought we had that many moths, but oh how wrong I was. The traps caught a horrifying number, all around our house. When the sticky panels became fully covered, I ordered more traps. Far fewer moths are being caught now, which is a relief and shows how well these work. Highly recommend!!

Edited. GET THE WHITE ONES I got the black ones originally, and big fail. Husband grabbed a few white ones. The white ones outperform the black big time in our household. I'm talking twent-plus moths in only five traps. (The sixth stuck to itself somehow.) CLOTHING MOTHS EAT NATURAL HAIR, too, btw, and will eat PET hair. Yes, pet hair. They were actually chewing on my cat. To get blankets/clothes fabrics and surfaces clean, you WILL need to use the 50-50 vinegar-water wash against larva and eggs. DE won't work, tried that. But for grown actual moths, get the white ones. They love those.

Tried another brand but these worked much better. Caught a bunch of moths. Now that we eliminated the problem, I use these to check to make sure they are all gone.
