I struggle with neck/back pain almost daily but can not use an inversion table (recommended by several friends and family) due to acid reflux. This peoduct works as described as long as you follow the instructions and take a moment to familiarize yourself with the checkball that prevents air from leaking down. (In short duration periods I personally did not experience any leak down without using the checkball) It is fairly comfortable to wear and does not feel like it is choking me. My best advice for someone new is don't pump it up to the max and start out with short time increments. Stop inflating when you feel the stretch but before it becomes uncomfortable. Over time you can gradually wear it longer and pump it up more to relieve more pressure. I am up to about 10 mins now and can feel not just a relief but a generous increase in the range of motion my head has after wearing it. It almost feels too good to be true for the price. Hopefully this lasts.
