Review: surprisingly happy - I ordered an XXL size for my larger leg. It is a sleeve type slip on with velcro straps to adjust for above and below the knee. I needed ligament support and this was the best of the 3 braces I tried. It is comfortable, supportive, well made, and reasonably priced. The braces in the discount stores are cheap and ill fitting. I considered myself lucky with this purchase.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works wonders, hate their sizing!

I have lingering damage to my knee. Had surgery to remove a lot of shredded cartilage from femur and patella, had torn MCL and LCL, also injured patella tendon. I still have pain and swelling from time to time. Over the past week it was really bad, had limited mobility, difficulty walking. I couldn't find my old brace (also McDavid) so I ordered this. It works wonders. After a day at work in retail while wearing this, I still have some pain and swelling but for the most part it is gone. That said, this brace is harder to get on and off than one with the external hinge (my other one). There are no loops on the sides on the top to help pull this up. (WHY?! All knee braces should have those!) It fits really snug, almost too snug to adjust it when it's on. It also rubbed my leg on the side of my knee and now I have a blister. According to the company, who I called about sizing, I picked the right size. I think I should have gone up a size. I'm not wearing this while playing sports. I need it for day to day life and for working my retail job where I walk for what seems like miles during an 8 hour shift. Overall, I like it. It brought relief fast, but it might be a little too snug and it's hard to get on and even harder to get off.
