On real U.S. currency (starch-free), the mark stays light. **Q: Can it detect foreign bills?** A: Standard pens are for U.S. bills only. Dri Mark’s Universal Pen can check some foreign currencies but not polymer bills. **Q: Is it effective on old and new bills?** A: Yes, it works on all U.S. bills since they all use the same cotton-linen paper without starch. **Q: Can counterfeiters fool the pen?** A: Advanced fakes using real paper (like bleached bills) may pass. Use UV lights or other tools for better security. **Q: How long does the pen last?** A: It lasts long due to a larger ink supply. Keep the cap on tightly and store it cool and dry to maximize life. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/723678255-dri-mark-1500-pack-counterfeit-bill-detector-marker-pen-made](https://www.desertcart.no/products/723678255-dri-mark-1500-pack-counterfeit-bill-detector-marker-pen-made) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
