Lovely item, well packaged

I purchased 2 white 8"X6" frame for some art work and they both look very nice. It uses non shatter styrene instead of glass but once you install your picture and hang it up you wont really be able to tell the difference. The frame even though is MDF has a nice finish that doesn't look or feel cheap. The frame looks good and makes your pictures and artwork look even better on display. The frame does have a decent build quality, however being a budget frame do not expect premium quality. I think if you stick in some nice art work this could make a nice inexpensive gift. Overall it is a good product for what it is, and its price makes it even better value for money. I definitely recommend this frame. Hope this helps

Ok for the price but really disappointed there is no backing paper. I wanted to put a smaller poster in and have the backing paper act as a mount. I've never bought a frame that comes without.

This is obviously a budget frame but I'm not sure what has caused other reviewers so many problems. Delivered with corner protectors on to prevent damage in transit. It is made from light, sturdy MDF with a wood effect covering. Nicely finished, no dents or ripples. The "glass" is a light weight clear, thin perspex that has film on both sides for transportation and needs peeling off before use. The back board is a fairly standard thickness board with the folding metal tabs that are commonly used in framing to hold it in place. It really isn't hard to work out at all: Turn the frame face down, fold all the metal tabs upwards towards the edge of the frame. Lift out the back board Lift out the perspex and peel the backing off both sides. Put the perspex back in Put your item to be displayed in Put the back board back in with the hanging hook in place Bend back all the metal tabs so they lay flat Done!! It comes with two hooks that slide over the backing board so you can hang it landscape or portrait. If you hang it landscape maybe use both hooks equidistant so the frame is well supported. As it is made with lightweight materials the frame is lovely and light so it is easy to hang. No fancy heavy duty rawl plugs/screws/fixing are necessary, just standards nails or screws. I pull an A1 map inside the frame without a mount an it fit perfectly and hangs beautifully.
