A: Dead straight. Very high quality product.

**Q: What can I use to cut this?**
A: Bandsaw, lathe, small sizes you can cut with diagonal cutting pliers.

**Q: I'd like to melt it in a crucible.  Any issues with doing that?**
A: They seem pure, so no. It would probably be cheaper to buy brass ingots. These are fine tolerance rods for pinning cutlery handles (knife/sword/axe).
