Review: Great product - I had ordered a different brand for my son and after a few months, I had asked why he wasn’t wearing it to which he replied it didn’t fit. So we decided to order this one, even though it was a little bit more expensive. I recommend actually measuring the circumference of the head that will wear this headgear (you might actually be surprised haha) before ordering. All in all, my son now wears this at practice and for every match and he’s glad and I’m glad for the added protection. He said it’s comfortable fits well and good quality. Review: Satisfied client - My son has not used it yet but looks sturdy and well made ## Features - Flexible 3D Design: Hex padding with a molded foam configuration ensures a snug, adaptive fit for all head shapes and sizes. - Enhanced Communication: Hollowed-out ear sections allow for clear communication during gameplay. - Optimized Ventilation: Strategically placed ventilation holes help keep your head cool, even during intense matches. - Customizable Fit: Expandable lace closure system provides a secure and adjustable fit for ultimate comfort and stability. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DK73RW6S | | Additional Features | Adjustable Strap, Lightweight, Ventilation | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #100,186 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #21 in Rugby Headguards | | Brand | Gilbert | | Brand Name | Gilbert | | Color | Black/Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 35 Reviews | | Included Components | Rugby Headguard | | Inner Material | Foam | | Item Weight | 3.84 ounces | | Manufacturer | Gilbert | | Manufacturer Part Number | 29611S 0013 | | Model Name | Gilbert XP 250 Rugby Headguard | | Model Number | 29611S 0013 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Outer Material | Polyester | | Product Style | Rugby Scrum Cap | | Recommended Uses For Product | On Field, Match, Training, Fifteens, Sevens | | Size | X-Large | | Special Feature | Adjustable Strap, Lightweight, Ventilation | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Gilbert - **Color:** Black/Green - **Size:** X-Large - **Special Feature:** Adjustable Strap, Lightweight, Ventilation ## Images ![XP 250 Rugby Headguard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OEd4YkOmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by B***Y on November 20, 2025* I had ordered a different brand for my son and after a few months, I had asked why he wasn’t wearing it to which he replied it didn’t fit.
