Season after season, the 1900 Arctix Men's Essential Snow Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot snaps make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

I was a little worried about him staying warm because he usually gets cold so easily, but these worked out perfectly. The insulation is really great and he said they kept him nice and toasty even when the wind was picking up on the mountain. He even mentioned that they didn't feel heavy or bulky at all while he was skiing. The fit of the Arctix Men's Essential Snow Pants is really nice because the waistband is adjustable, so he could get it just right over his base layers. I also love that they have those reinforced scuff guards at the bottom because he can be kind of rough on his gear. They stayed completely dry all day long which was the most important thing for us. We are definitely impressed with the quality for such a good price. They have all these handy little features like the O-ring for his lift ticket and the boot gaiters that actually kept the snow out of his boots. He’s already planning to wear them again for our next trip and I’m just glad he was comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend for anyone heading to the slopes!
Review: Snow Pants Keep You Dry and Warm - My family planned a trip to Tromsø, Norway last December to see the northern lights. Living in Arizona for over 15 years, we got rid of most of our winter clothing except down jackets. So we ordered 3 pairs of snow pants (in black color) for my daughter, my husband, and me. The temperatures were between 19 and 25 degrees Fahrenheit while we were there, it was cold! These snow pants kept us dry and warm the entire trip, we did wear another pair of long underwear underneath the snow pants. One day we spent 4 hours outdoors at a reindeer farm feeding reindeer and getting a reindeer ride! Thank goodness for these snow pants! We were lucky to see northern lights at the Airbnb place three nights in a row! As soon as the lights began, we immediately jumped into our snow pants and snow boots, put on hats and scarfs and jackets and gloves, and ran outside to take pictures and enjoy the wonders of the nature. I also wore them in Denmark, the temperatures were between high 20’s and low 30’s. They are comfortable to wear and block out the wind. Based on the weight of the material, I believe they can last 10 plus years easily. Price is very reasonable. I highly recommend them!
