This strap seems like the perfect answer. It's a much slimmer design, and doesn't hurt the guitar AT ALL to put it on and off. It's dummy-proof, too. Works even easier than I expected. MAKE SURE you have traditional strap bolts, though! Otherwise it may not work! My minor complaint: I was expecting the silver locking component to be made of metal. It's plastic. VERY happy with that aspect. I haven't tried storing my guitar in the case with the strap on. May not be worth it, as it could possibly hurt the mechanism or the guitar. But that's no worry. I enlarged the hole/slot in the black part to fit over the jack button on my Epiphone. I used a Dremel tool with a small cylindrical grinder. Works fine now. **Q: Is there any leather on this strap?** A: No leather, 100% cotton. I like this strap because of its softness but be aware it works great on guitars with the strap screw on the horn (Strat,Les Paul) of the guitar a but if the screw is on the heel (335 style), you end up with an annoying half twist on the strap. **Q: Please help: this strap is shown with only one lock in the photos, which makes no sense - did you receive the strap with 2 locks, one on each end??** A: Not only do the photos show the strap having only one lock but they also show the strap having only one end. I can confirm that the strap I received does, indeed, have two ends and each end has identical quick-release locks.
