I've had this rice cooker for 2 years now. I've owned/used many different rice cookers in my life and this one is by far the best overall. It has many features that a basic 1-button rice cooker doesn't have but it costs way less than a lot of the more famous brands (zojirushi/cuckoo). I also love the large size of it. I have a family of 5 and we often have extended family over. I can always make as much rice as I need in just this one cooker. My rice always comes out perfectly. I mostly eat Jasmine rice but I've made brown rice, sushi rice, and basmati. I like the little beeps it makes when the rice is done. I've used the cake function and the cake came out moist and delicious. I've used it as a slow cooker and that worked wonderfully for me as well. I want to eventually make yogurt in it but I never find the time. I've noticed condensation can build up in it after hours of sitting on warm. But if you open it slowly and have a paper towel handy it's not a problem. It was the same for me in my zojirushi rice cooker. I've had rice spoil in my zojirushi while it was keeping it warm before and no matter how many times I cleaned it, the smell wouldn't leave and it would make new rice smell spoiled. This comfee cooker has never had rice spoil in it while it was keeping rice warm. It did have rice spoil in it once because my kids used it and forgot to clean out the rice they didn't eat. I was able to clean it and there was no lingering smell. Everything comes apart to clean unlike my last zojirushi. I believe I would buy this again if anything were to happen to it. I've had no problems in over 2 years so I'm hoping it'll last me a very long time. Edit: Sooooo my kids melted this rice cooker on the stove recently. 3 years after my original purchase I decided to do some research and see if I could find something comparable and within my budget. After all the research, here I am repurchasing this same rice cooker because I didn't find anything that could compete with my old Comfee.

Bought this to replace my Instant Pot. All I needed was a basic rice cooker that did the job without burning. This is everything I could want and more! It’s very sleek and elegant, which is nice bc unless u have a lot of storage space in ur kitchen, this is going to reside on ur countertop. I’ve got plenty of cabinets so I can tuck it away when not in use. It comes with a steamer basket, measuring cup and utensils. Everything is made to be easy to clean, just wipe and rinse. Obvs u can use soap but I’m avoiding it on the inner cook pot bc it’s coated with a non-stick material inside and out—I try to not use anything even remotely abrasive on those things. The directions are sadly lacking…there’s zero info on how to use this beyond hit the start to power it up, select from the menu button and start again. The display is totally not helpful. It just will show an “L” and a red led line will do laps around the screen. Apparently that’s it’s way of telling you it’s working. I was expecting more but it is what it is. The buttons are odd and kinda creepy. It’s a mix of old 1980’s “button swathed in plastic overlay” and nearly-touchscreen-esque. What I thought was a label was actually a button—that’s what I mean about touch screen…it doesn’t look at all like a button. Anyways, it’s easy to select ur cooking menu—I did brown rice. I saw a video on YT and the person opened the lid and stirred the rice a couple times during the cooking process, something you can never ever do with Instant Pot. I’m not sure if u need to stir or not, but I did. At some point, the rice seemed to be nearly cooked, and I was worried it would burn. But I let the cycle continue. Then a 12 minute timer appeared and it beeped as it counted down…the rice was cooked and it was cooling down or downshifting to “keep warm” or something…I think to make sure the excess water is absorbed. I opened the lid and stirred again…very fluffy and lovely!! At the end, it beeped and was done. My rice was text book perfect….fluffy, a bit sticky, and not a single burnt or overcooked grain. Probably the best rice I’ve ever had outside of a restaurant…perfect Asian-style rice…not that sad boxed stuff u can cook in 5 minutes. Cleanup was easy. I put the rice in a big ceramic bowl, and washed the cooking pot with water and a clean dish cloth, and dried it. I used paper towels to wipe and dry the inner pot ring and the edges…it wasn’t very damp or dirty, just needed to be dried for storage in the cupboard. The inner cooking pot seems like you’ll need to clean it carefully…I don’t know how sturdy that finish is, so I say use water and a soft cloth. The unit itself is like the $300+ machines…authentically Asian-made so it’s designed to cook rice properly, unlike Instant Pot. If rice is a dietary staple, ur gonna know how to cook it properly—and the people who designed this know their stuff when it comes to good, sticky rice. It’s going to be fun to try recipes where u add things to rice and steam things on the upper basket. Overall, this is perfect for making rice and typical Asian dishes…congee, steamed cakes, etc. I think it probably performs as well as the more expensive machines..I can’t imagine they do anything that this can’t do. It makes a superb pot of rice! I think it takes just a few minutes longer than Instant Pot…maybe 5 minutes more. But it’s 100% successful, doesn’t scorch or mess up. Plus it’s super quiet—Instant Pot can be hissy, beepy and irritating—besides the whole ‘burn everything’ or blow itself up thing…not at all an Instant Pot fan. This however, is light years ahead of I.P. and makes amazing rice. The price is insanely low—I’d grab one for anybody u know who cooks rice a lot—super great deal on a fab machine! My new fave kitchen gadget!!! And that’s from someone who hates to cook! Def a must have appliance!!!

I really love my COMFEE. A good way to cook rice. I used less rice 🍚 and the cooking time is much better...no need the watch the pot..or that the rice burn 🔥 . To be honest I was a bit hesitant because I am cooking with the pot for a very long time. I can't wait to explore even more what else I can do. The no so good part is that have little instructions...I had to Google how much rice versus water and would be great they included a little recipe book to have an idea the multiples uses to the comfee. I am very happy because I thought the simple white rice would it had different taste but to be honest LOVE it 💘 🙃 how it cook white rice. A bit more detail instruction book....would it be appreciated. Anyway a happy customer here...because I am extremely picky about my rice....and I love MY COMFEE Recipe: I use 1 cup of uncooked short grain rice and 1 cup of water, some salt, a bit if oil (can be corn oil), and close it. Perfect rice all the time. 🥰 If you going to cook 2 cup of rice and then is 2 cup of water .. *Always rinse with 💧 water the rice before put it to cook* I just love it. I used it to cooked steam veggies and potatoes and is phenomenal!!! Very easy to clean. After almost 6 years, I still love my COMFEE, I had done onion rice, yellow rice and white rice...and all is Phenomenal, still working like a 🏆 Champ. After almost 6 years still cooking like a 🏆 champ. I love it. ❤️ I cooked pastas, steam veggie. I love the modern design and the colors. The best purchase ever.

DISCLAIMER: I am writing this review based on cooking rice only. I have not used it for any of its other features, including timed cook. First the good News: This made PERFECT rice. Not a single burnt/browned rice grain. For me this is great, because the plain rice cooking feature is the feature I will be using most often. Here's some not so good news: It takes almost twice as long as my previous rice cooker to cook the rice. It doesnt even show on the digital display how much time it will take to finish...the time remaining display only kicks on when you have 15 minutes to go. But prior to the last fifteen minute countdown-you have no idea how long its going to take. As I stated before, it cooks perfect rice-So Im willing to wait the longer time for it to be cooked perfect. But I was initially surprised at how long it took. Here the MAIN DRAWBACK....the manual is disorganized, repetitive at points, unclear at other points and just confusing overall. A key feature to rice cooking is the amount of rice and the amount of water. Yet NO WHERE in the manual does it tell you what to do. There are measurement marking inside the pot for the water, yet it is mentioned NOWHERE in the manual. If I was rating the manual alone I would give this product a ONE STAR. But as I have clearly stated- I love the rice. It is also easy to clean, and I love the carrying handle. On a humorous note* as to preempt any bad reviews based on the short length of the power cord...it says in the manual that it was intentionally designed with a short cord to prevent small children from running and tripping over the cord. REALLY? you mean the small children that I always have running and playing on my countertop? Dont be cheap...give me a decent length cord!

This makes perfect regular and sushi rice every time! It also works beautifully as a slow cooker. Very versatile!

As I sit here eating my nice fluffy rice I think to myself I should leave a review for my rice cooker. Tomorrow is March 1st 2021 and I bought it April 15th 2020 so it's just shy a year old and still works awesomely, so it's no one-month-dud. Bang for your buck this little thing SLAPS. I have made sooooo much food in it. Tons of pulled pork, stews, butter chicken, soups, broths, and of course, rice. It has a pretty decent capacity. I was able to make enough beef bourguinon in it to feed four people one night with a little leftover. It's not super hard to clean, just make sure you don't forget to, haha. Pay attention to the insides of the rubber ring on the bottom of the lid, especially if you're like me and keep overfilling the dang thing... lol can be a little harder to clean but you can basically fill it up almost to the top and it cooks fine, just gets the lid messy. Only critiques is that the nonstick inside scratches easily so DO NOT use anything metal to stir or serve out of it, and that the settings are a little vague and the instructions don't really detail much regarding temperature. I think the slow cook setting is a normal slow cooker's equivalent of the "high" setting? I know it makes a pork shoulder fork-pullable in 6 hours. Overall I am pretty broke (thanks COVID pay cuts!) and so am immensely glad I went with this rice cooker versus the $100 alternative I was looking at. It's a little champ.

I was a little hesitant when I first purchased it but man it has held up so well! Super easy to use and clean too. Makes the perfect rice and quinoa every time. Definitely would recommend!

My previous rice cooker would burn/stick to the bottom every time no matter how much water or oil was added, sometimes making mushy rice but still stuck on the bottom. I did a lot of research into types of rice cookers and read a lot of reviews of cookers highly rated before landing on this one. The brand itself is highly regarded as a rice cooker and the price point was more justifiable than other brands. I have only used the rice function so far so I can't speak to the (many) additional features but it has cooked my rice perfectly every time. I probably didn't need to get one that's so large but it still cooks perfectly when making smaller amounts. Would be great for making large meals. I also love how easy to clean it is. The nonstick pot works very well and even old dried tomato came off super easily. There is a piece on the inside of the lid that pops out for easy cleaning as well as the steam trap on the outside of the lid that comes off and even opens to the inside once it's removed. I'm excited to try the other features it has

Incompatible plug for UAE - even with an adapter it tripped my fuse and was completely unusable.

Fácil de usar y totalmente eficiente. Ayuda mucho en la cocina.

I was looking to replace my rice cooker and decided to go with this once because it was larger and had more options available with what you can do with it. We used it yesterday and it was perfect. It took a little figuring out but when we did have it figured out, it turned out to be even easier to use than what we had thought. Not only was it easy to use, it worked exactly like it claimed it would and it worked faster than our previous rice cooker, without the mess that the previous one normally made. Clean up was so fast, as well. I highly recommend this cooker.

Très surpris le meilleur riz que j'ai mangé..c était à point
