Delicious. But I’ll need to avoid ordering in the summer because they arrived melted. Amazon guy left them in the sun on the porch. Not his fault, he didn’t know.

What does that mean, 'Very Japanese'?Well if your a giajin like me, you are used to a certain texture to your foods. Companies design foods with more crunch and snap for the Western palate. Japanese foods tend towards softer, pillow-y textures. Especially their sweets.This candy bar does just that. It has a very nice deep and dark chocolate flavor burst up front. The inside has a 'rice crispy' texture. Note rice crispy, not rice crispy treat with the marshmallow fluff. There is the initial tooth and crunch of a dry rice crispy, but then the bite dissolves rapidly, melting in your mouth. It'd be nice if there were a little caramel in there to keep the chew going for another nom or two, but hey, this fellow isn't designed for me.I recommend it due to the flavor, which is very nice and unique chocolate, and the novel experience.
