Just press the power button on the end and you are ready to write. It arrived quickly after I ordered it. It does seem to be pretty accurate. I was using it on the notes in my device and seems to work pretty well. It, of course, does not have quite the accuracy of a real pen and paper. Sometimes I had to write things twice. But in the end, it is a good product. I also love the ease of charging with a simple USB micro B cord. Who doesn't have one of those cords around the house if you lose the one that came with it? It skips like a conventional pen running out of ink and that’s only if I can get it to startup.
