## Overview

The Mackie MR MRS10 is a 10-inch studio subwoofer delivering 120 watts of Class A/B power for precise, deep low-frequency reproduction. Featuring adjustable crossover and polarity controls, stereo XLR/TRS inputs, and an included footswitch for quick bypass, it’s engineered to enhance electronic, hip-hop, and all bass-heavy music production with professional accuracy and flexibility.

## Description

Designed to add the perfect amount of dynamic, accurate low-end, the MRS10 10” subwoofer will enhance the listening experience in your studio without artificially adding boomy bass to your mix. Optimizing features include an adjustable Crossover to dial in the right amount of low end for your studio plus a polarity switch to make sure your mix is always in phase. With foot-switchable bypass functionality, MRS10 can be muted while returning your monitors to full range at the push of a button. When your mix has some serious low end that needs to be heard, look no further than the MRS10.

Review: Love this sub - Love this sub. Period. The foot switch makes it easy to reference the low end quickly, then get back to fine tune mixing.
Review: IT COMES WITH A FOOTSWITCH INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE!!!!!!!! - This would have been REALLY nice to know before I went and spent an additional $20+ on a footswitch and cable that I now have no use for. Nowhere on the description or images does it expressly say that a footswitch is included, only that it has a port for footswitch capabilities. I really do hope this review will be helpful to someone who's considering making the purchase. That being said, everything else I'm very satisfied with. My first speakers were CR3's from Mackie, and I liked those so much I went and upgraded to MR624's, and liked those so much that I decided to purchase this subwoofer. If a company is good to me, I'm loyal and Mackie has been good to me. But dammitall, I spent a good hour doing price points on footswitches and shopping for the right one and buying a cable and all that extra jazz all for nothing just because they failed to briefly say "footswitch included" or even BETTER just include it in the product pictures.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do i have a defective pair or all the mackir mr series "pop" when turning on or off?**
A: Pops usually occur when there is signal going through the inputs. Your best bet is to turn down the signal all the way off going into the speaker. I would also look into how the speakers are plugged into the power source, make sure its grounded.

**Q: Many studio monitors ive seen have a audible hiss when within anout 2 feet of the monitor. Is this hiss present with these monitors as well?**
A: Audible hiss is often due to cheap Class D amps used in these price tier of active monitors. This MR624 uses a Class A/B which is MUCH quieter at rest. There is technically a hiss, but you have to have your ear within a couple inches in a quiet room to hear it. At two feet you likely wouldn't hear anything from these. Nothing like the first gen Kali monitors (cant speak for newer gens) which hissed so loudly I thought it was raining outside once. No, this isn't dirty power or due to poor gain staging -- its due to the amp design.

**Q: Anybody heard these to compare them with krk rockits? i have a 10s sub and 6in monitors i'm looking to maybe replace with these.**
A: Don't know about the krk rockits, but I've used mackies pretty much my entire career, 450's as a mobile DJ, and now these as my home studio monitors. The beauty of Mackie is the richness of the highs, and the fullness of the bass in their equipment. Hope it helps.

**Q: Por la compra del producto vienen los dos altavoces?**
A: no, se venden por separado.
