Normally if I product is defective I would contact customer service and ordered a replacement. I was in the throes of a new back fracture and in a lot of pain, however, so I quickly ordered one from a different company, even though I previously had a good experience with this company in a prior purchase.The reason I am raising this to a 5 star reviews is 2-fold. While I was waiting for my other product to ship, I actually found my old pink/purple cold belt that I had purchased a couple of years ago. That one worked flawlessly, which made me think that I had just gotten a lemon.Recently, the company messaged me through Amazon. They did not ask me to change my review but, instead, asked for more details about my experience. After I replied they messaged me back the next day saying they really appreciated my specific feedback so that they could follow up on this and make sure that this was not an ongoing problem. I was impressed by their sincerity, and they fact that they did not try to ask me to change the review or give their product another try.Looking back at this, I realize that if I hadn't been in so much pain at the time, I would have contacted the company and they would have replaced it right away and made it right.This pink/purple is still going strong and if I need to order another one I won't hesitate to order from this company. I think they make the best looking versions of this product and have actually received compliments on my old one.They have several thousand reviews, so my low review wouldn't make a dent in their overall ratings.
