To make a compound that is all you need . It’s mixed together so don’t need to buy 2 separate ones. **Q: What kind of consistency does this have? for example. is it syrupy? or straight liquid? somewhere in between?** A: It's more of a syrup in a sense, think of children's medicine, it's not watery and not a thick syrup, I love this stuff and the humco syrpalta is my favorite, its one bottle and the best flavor, along with the cherry second, this is great as well I just prefer it already made in one bottle. I add powder to this and it comes out perfect as a liquid oral medicaion that taste great to kids and adults. It has the right PH for meds, peds , it works well with whatever you want to make with it. So I guess I'd say in between it's not a thick liquid or syrup and not just liquid like watery, it's in between, I've never had anyone not like it, actually the prefer it after trying it but it's much easier to get the cherry humco that you don't have to mix but then you get half the amount but I believe it's cheaper, if you can't find humco syrpalta on here for around $20 go to their site and looks for it, it's very good. I use to find it here a lot but lately not as much or the price is higher than what I can pay on the other site. It's not even a syrup like cough syrup.
