It does take a few sprays to get the hang of it and if you hold it too close to your project the spray does come out in a circle pattern, it is the nature of spraying anything out of a cylindrical hole... however, if you go in knowing this, you can adjust the distance and spray pattern. I was able to spray a pretty nice looking neon cammo sort of look on a bandana. Read the instructions for information on washing and making the design last longer. I would have given it five stars, but I wasn't in love with this product.
