This tiny device is amazing. It measures, as well as finding angles and calculating volumes. It can also connect to other modules for enhanced features. It uses a green laser, which is bright and can measure much further than my old one. The screen is a touchscreen and it pretty responsive. Usage is straightforward, and you can set it to measure from the front, or rear of the cube. It also connects to a phone using Bluetooth and transfers measurements directly onto drawn plans (using the mezor app). Charging is straightforward using the enclosed USB-C cable, with a charging light on the front of the cube. Everything works really well. It isn't cheap at £109 (at the time of review) but it is a quality package that is definitely useful.

Instructions woefully inadequate, spent half the evening trying to work out how it works, with the use of chat gpt, and got nowhere. Should have bought a £15 version which basically does the same thing given how complicated it is to use the features this product claims to have. Avoid.

I'll start by saying I love the concept, but it needs work, especially for the price! All of the features along with the screen and how compact the unit is, makes the product very appealing...but it's not accurate. I took this out on site (internationally) in a professional setting to take critical dimensions for a fit out project. Even after calibrating the device, it was impossible to get consistent and reliable measurements. This was confirmed by having a professional Leica laser measure on site with me (as a backup) for comparison. The Leica stayed consistent, but the M-cube constantly had fluctuations of anywhere from 3mm - 9mm off, even at short distances, making it completely unfit for purpose. This was reaffirmed by checking all measurements again with a tape measure where it was possible. A colleague had brought along a cheap off brand laser measure that was around £20 from memory. That laser measure was more consistent and had less tolerance issues than this product. In my opinion, wait for a sale for a Leica or Bosch unit. I returned this and purchased a Bosch unit in a sale, and I've no regrets, especially with it being similar price on sale to this. But I really hope they continue to develop this product so that it is more reliable, as they will dominate with the features they already offer, just not suitable for anything beyond home use where tolerances arent too important.

Very bright laser, accurate/repeatable measurements and a very bright easy to read screen. Style over function: The outer case is very smooth and slippery, the touch screen is sometimes awkward and laggy and doesn’t fair well with dirty or wet hands. With no silicone/rubber end pieces, the all plastic case doesn’t feel like it would hold up well to drop impacts. No case is included, not even a simple slip case. Functions: The inbuilt functionality is very good, in addition to the standard single point measurements there is area, volume, indirect height, double indirect height, indirect length and angle finder measurements all built-in. There is also an electronic ‘spirit’ level and the base is magnetic. The App: Unfortunately the Meazor iOS app does not have a privacy policy available. When the app store ‘privacy policy’ link is clicked on, it leads to a “ page not available” error. I’m not prepared to install an unknown app when it’s unclear what they’re going to do with my personal data. Without the app there’s limited ability to recall last measurements and with the touch screen I found it all too easy to inadvertently exit some of the advanced measurement pages and loose my measurements. Overall: It’s a very capable and accurate laser measure that seems mostly suited to clean surveying work rather than building/engineering. I would have much preferred a textured finish to the unit or some silicone grip inserts. Just about scrapes 4 stars…

I think this is a really good laser measure. It is nicer to use than bigger counterparts and much easier to keep in my travel tool bag. Being used to smart phone screens the touch screen is a bit sluggish to the touch and I have to tap things once or twice but there aren’t that many times I need to change things so it’s not an issue. The screen is clear and it’s all easy to use if you have ever used a laser measure before, it does all the calculations as normal with area etc but I only use it for straight measures, I’m too old school and need to do it on paper to be sure before I buy any materials. It’s expensive compared to its larger counterparts, more than double, so you are paying for the compact size and the screen. If you can pocket the extra cash it’s better to use and it does look cool.

Many ways in which this thing is better than similar devices out there :- 1) USB-C charging *YAY!* Everything should be USB-C and this is. 2) Whole thing feels better quality; better packaging, nicer user interface, etc. 3) Lots of functions; not just measuring but also level in degrees, and it can also calculate areas and similar. 4) VERY bright green laser; far easier to see in some conditions than the usual red ones. 5) Nice form factor; fits nicely in hand. 6) VERY bright clear display. This is a much nicer version of a laser measure than others I've tried in the past. I'll definitely be keeping this one, and cannot really see how much better one could be. Very impressive.

This is a pretty decent measuring tool and easy to use, part from one thing which I shall come to. You have your basic measuring which can be set to measure either from front or back of the cube, it also shows degrees of elevation to make sure you are angling it correctly (weirdly though it doesn't show plus/minus on the figure), and you can transfer your results to an app (which I confess I haven't tried as it's something I won't need). On top of this you have a whole range of more complicated functions - measuring angled distances, areas and volumes. But here comes the annoyance - if you want to use these features, on the touchscreen you need to drag upwards to scroll down to see them, but the touchscreen is *really* unresponsive to dragging and quite a pain. I notice that none of the other reviews have mentioned this, so it's possible that I just got one that is a bit defective on the touchscreen. Fortunately I can't see myself using these other fancy features much if at all, but professionals are going to want to use them regularly I would have thought. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for this touchscreen issue.

Great little device, build quality is noticeably better than competitors. Good bright screen and laser, and very intuitive navigation. Accuracy is absolutely spot on, better than a tape even, especially on longer distances and much much quicker and easier. The app is fantastic, it's extremely handy being able to transfer the data seamlessly to a phone and map out a floor plans in real-time is a game changer and really elevates this above over similar devices.

Great lazer, connected with app, has a lot of functions. Needs an extension piece, though, if wanted to scan a full flor plan and get it drawn automatically. Otherwise need to move arround and edit every line in the app if using just this small lazer cube part. It's a good start and deffinitely worth to have something more modern than typical lazers.

Even without the attachments it's a very good device.

Using a tape and another laser measure tool, as you can see it’s always around .30” more off measurement, sometimes getting .40”. Unfortunately has no way to recalibrate since it comes pre calibrated from factory. As today 05/30/26 there’s no firmware updates so I hope in the future they fix that. Unfortunately I am returning to my money back.

Der Laserentfernungsmesser kommt überraschend klein daher. Das ist auch leider der einzige Pluspunkt, den ich vergeben kann. Als Minuspunkt ist das sehr träge Display zu nennen und die überraschend schlechte Genauigkeit. Abweichungen von über einem Zentimeter gegenüber einem Standard-Entfernungsmesser habe ich vorher noch nie gesehen, die Entfernungen habe ich mit mehreren Stahlbandmaßen und Zollstöcken nachgemessen: Der Bosch Entfernungsmesser hatte immer Recht. Im Einstellungsmenü gibt es die Möglichkeit, den Laser um +/- 6mm zu "kalibrieren", das hat aber nicht zum Erfolg verholfen. Ich kann den Entfernungsmesser nicht empfehlen.

Der Laser-Entfernungsmesser der Firma Hozu wird in einem schlicht gestalteten kleinen Karton geliefert – enthalten sind das Gerät selbst, eine Anleitung sowie ein Ladekabel. Der Entfernungsmesser ist kompakt und handlich und verfügt über einen grün leuchtenden Laser, der präzises und schnelles Arbeiten ermöglicht. Über den integrierten Touchscreen lassen sich verschiedene Einstellungen vornehmen – unter anderem die Auswahl unterschiedlicher Maßeinheiten sowie mehrerer Messmethoden. Die Bedienung ist dabei intuitiv und einfach. Zusätzlich ist eine kleine Wasserwaage integriert, mit der schnelle Orientierungsmessungen möglich sind. Für präzisere Anwendungen empfiehlt sich jedoch der Einsatz einer größeren Wasserwaage. Das Gerät ermöglicht nicht nur die Messung von Entfernungen, sondern auch die Berechnung von Flächen und Rauminhalten. Über eine optionale App lassen sich erweiterte Einstellungen vornehmen und Messdaten weiterverarbeiten. Ein durchdachtes und praktisches Werkzeug, das mein Set sinnvoll ergänzt. Von mir gibt es 4 von 5 Sternen.
