by Amazon Tomato Ketchup, 500ml

This was a surprising find, Amazon branded ketchup, who woulda thought? It did not disappoint, as someone who doesnt adore ketchup, but does enjoy it in the odd meal, this blew me away, I actually prefer this to the larger name brands, and its cheaper, score! Its nice and creamy, easy to get the right amount out of the bottle (can't take that forgranted these days), and has a very nice taste, not too strong, not too weak. The bottle is surprisingly large, and contains a lot of ketchup, I have been known to have way too much and its been going strong for a good month now, and still tastes as good as when it arrived. As another plus, it is just runny enough to the point where it is easy to get the ketchup to the bottom of the bottle, making it much easier to reduce waste and make the most of it. I think ill have to get this again, highly reccomended.

The Taste Test Let's be honest: if you are used to Heinz, you will notice the difference immediately. This "by Amazon" ketchup is perfectly edible, but it lacks that deep, rich tomato flavor.Flavor Profile: It tastes a little more acidic and vinegary than the leading brand, and slightly sweeter, without that savory "umami" kick you get from Heinz.Consistency: The texture is decent—it's not too watery, and it sits on a chip without running off, but it feels slightly thinner than the premium brands.Usage If you are putting this inside a burger or a hot dog where there are lots of other flavors (onions, mustard, meat), it is absolutely fine. You probably won't notice the difference. However, for dipping chips or fries directly where the ketchup is the main flavor, it falls a bit short.Value vs. Quality The main selling point here is the price. It is significantly cheaper than the big brands. If you have a large family or kids who drown their food in sauce and aren't picky, this is a great money-saver.Verdict It is a passable condiment for the price, but if you are particular about your ketchup, you might want to stick to the big brand. I’ll finish the bottle, but I'll likely switch back to Heinz for my next purchase.

I'm going to be honest, I don't use ketchup that often and when I do use it, it tends to be as an ingredient rather than a condiment. So I'm perhaps not the best person to review this. However! I thought the taste, texture and smell were comparable to the well-known name brands and much better than the supermarket own-brand offerings, at a competitive price. It wasn't too watery, too sugary or too vinegary which are problems I usually find with affordable ketchups. I thought it had a nice balance of flavours. My only complaint is that, despite leaving it in the fridge, it seemed to get "fizzy" quicker than others. But then I didn't go through the bottle very quickly so perhaps that's on me.If I need ketchup again in the future, I'd probably reorder this one.

I bought this ketchup as an everyday alternative to some of the more expensive brands, and honestly I was pleasantly surprised. The flavour is rich, slightly tangy and works well with a wide variety of foods. It has quickly become a regular item in our cupboard. What impressed me most is the taste. It has a good balance of sweetness and tomato flavour without being overpowering. It pairs perfectly with chips, burgers, sandwiches and many other meals. The flavour is enjoyable and family-friendly.I also really like the consistency. The ketchup is smooth and easy to squeeze from the bottle without being too runny or too thick. It spreads well and doesn't create unnecessary mess. The texture feels just right.Another thing I appreciated is the value for money. The 500ml bottle provides a generous amount, and the quality compares very well with more expensive alternatives. It offers excellent everyday value. The price makes it an easy choice. The bottle itself is practical and easy to use. It dispenses a good amount each time and stores neatly in the fridge or cupboard. Everything feels straightforward and convenient. It works exactly as expected.I have used it with a variety of meals and snacks, and it has been consistently enjoyable. The flavour complements food nicely without overpowering it. Everyone in the household seems happy to use it. It has become a regular purchase. What surprised me most is how similar it tastes to some well-known branded options. I expected a noticeable difference, but the quality is genuinely impressive. It exceeded my expectations. The value is hard to ignore, I am very happy with this ketchup. It tastes great, has a good texture and offers excellent value for money. The quality has been consistently good throughout. I would definitely buy it again.

Large bottle good price great taste good size

Really tasty tomato sauce.I find the main named branded tomato sauce too vinegary. This ones really nice, with a hint of sweetness. Has a good thickness, not too runny and at a decent price too.Highly Recommend.

Really surprised at how tasty this ketchup is. A new family favourite at a great price. The best alternative ketchup we've tasted with a handy sized container and great consistency

This is just as tasty as any other ketchup (and better than some) at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended.
