I need to rip 5cm (slightly under 2") strips of Ply. What is the minimum it will cut as I see there is some "dead zone"?

Will this work with ryobi circular saws?

Yes, it should do, provided you mean a typical (either corded or cordless) circular saw which uses a 160/165 mm or a 185 mm diameter blade. It won't work with one of the typical 145 mm diameter blade mini circular saws, because their bases usually won't fit on the Rip-Cut sled.

Hi is there an extension so you can cut wider bit

Not that I know of. I looked on the site and got nothing. This is great for cutting boards and I use it a lot, but a lot of what I do is with live edge boards so I will need to get a guide which will work with this.

Would this fit a dewalt dcs571 4 1/2" saw?

I suspect not. Although it's not a DeWalt, I do have a 4½" circular saw, and there's no way it would fit into the sled of the Kreg rip-cut (whereas both my 165mm and 185mm circular saws fit into it fine).
