Review: Love or hate the brand, but can't beat the watch - Invicta gets a lot of hate in the watch world, but I have 4 Invicta automatic and two quartz pro divers, and I'll wear them before my Omega, Bulova, Seiko, or Citizen watches. My oldest Invicta is now 8 years old and never let me down, and still looks good. The pro divers are a fantastic value as an every-day beater. They are well made, all stainless steel, quality crystal, screw-down crown, 200M water resistance, and Seiko movements. Let's face it, you're functionally getting a Seiko SKX for 1/4 ( or less) the price. My only complaint is always with the cheaper bands. They are light and feel cheap, but most of the time I put them on NATO straps anyway, so who cares. If you want a great every-day beater that works in the office, at the beach, or in the woods, buy an Invicta pro diver, and skip the Timex or Armitron. Casio makes a good workhorse too, but they cost more than this one, and don't look as nice...

I do handyman work, and so far I have scratched the bezel and bracelet. Impressed with the crystal. So far it has zero scratches despite wearing it for work daily. Mine is accurate to +-2 minutes a week with regular wear. Very respectable. Well worth the price! 3 month Update: This watch is in my daily driver rotation. I wash it in the shower, go swimming, do renovation and work with my hands, and generally don’t have to worry about it. The band and clasp shows pretty significant surface scratches. I have one scratch on the bezel. The crystal has been scraped and dragged against many surfaces during my daily wear but DOES NOT HAVE A SINGLE SCRATCH. This thing has surpassed my expectations and I continually get compliments and questions about it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't go wrong

I am a watch guy. I like watches. I ordered this because it has an automatic winding mechanism. Recently I had 4 watches that all had dead batteries and I'm getting tired of battery powered watches. This one winds itself which is nice. It honors its water-resistant claim too. The crown screws down to seal the watch. This is the only real way to keep water out of a watch. Every other watch I have owned that did not have a screw down crown eventually leaked. What's more, if you have a battery powered watch, just removing the back to change the battery can compromise the o-ring seal. I don't know about you, but I don't keep spare watch o-rings around. This watch keeps excellent time for a mechanical. It loses about 20 seconds per day which is pretty good. There is an adjuster inside if required but this should be done by a watch repair person or someone with a good sense of mechanics annd a steady hand. Overall an excellent watch especially considering the price. Update 5/31/13 I got this watch dialed in to where it only loses one minute per month! Pretty good for a mechanical. Also I should note that the dots in the dial are nicely faceted and have a sparkle that makes the watch look like a quality timepiece.
