Microfiber Pillowcase

Because of a neck injury I sustained back in 2009, I’ve learned the hard way that the right pillow can make or break a night’s sleep. If I use anything that doesn’t support my neck properly, I pay for it the next morning — with stiffness, tension, and pain that can last all day. At home, I have my setup just right. But when I travel — whether it’s for work or a short break — I always take my own pillow with me. The only problem? In hotels and Airbnbs, those standard white pillowcases all look identical, and it’s surprisingly easy to accidentally leave your own pillow behind when you’re packing up. So, I decided to solve the problem in the simplest way possible — by buying pillowcases in a completely different colour to anything a hotel might use. After some searching, I came across the “NTBAY 2 Pack 500 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Pillow Cases” on Amazon. They were available in Charcoal Grey, and for less than £15 for a set of two, it seemed like a no-brainer. They arrived the next day with Prime delivery, and I was instantly impressed. The colour was perfect — rich, deep, and unmistakable, so there’s no chance they’ll ever blend in with standard hotel bedding. The stitching and craftsmanship were excellent, too, far better than I expected for the price. Now, I’ve always preferred Egyptian cotton for my bedding, usually opting for a 400-thread count, but these are 500-thread count, and you can feel the difference immediately. The fabric has that luxurious, smooth texture you only get with high-quality cotton — soft against the skin, but with enough weight and structure to feel substantial. A few days after they arrived, I took one on a business trip, and I have to say, it was bliss. The case fit my pillow perfectly — snug but not tight — and it felt cool, soft, and breathable throughout the night. No irritation, no overheating, just pure comfort. After returning home, I washed both pillowcases to see how they held up, and again, they didn’t disappoint. No shrinkage, no colour fade, and no distortion — they came out of the wash looking as good as new. For under £15, this set is an absolute bargain. The quality is genuinely impressive, and the comfort level rivals bedding I’ve bought for triple the price. Plus, the added benefit of having a clearly identifiable pillowcase for travel is a simple but clever solution that’s saved me a lot of worry. If you value comfort, durability, and a bit of everyday luxury — or, like me, just want a way to spot your pillow easily when travelling — I highly recommend these pillowcases. They’re practical, stylish, and exceptionally comfortable — the kind of purchase you’ll appreciate every single night.

So soft and beautiful. Feels amazing on the skin. Love them and will definitely order more!

Silky and soft and of good quality

Very nice material, a very generous size for the pillows. Very happy with these pillowcases.

These are a lovely, high quality-feel pillow case in an equally lovely rich colour. Feels nice to the touch too. Great fit, durable and easy to wash and yet retain the quality feel - happy to recommend.

Excellent quality and a nice colour and very fast delivery.

These pillows are amazing!!!! So soft and comfortable, Would highly recommend!!

Not great quality or finish. Just a hemmed square. No larger hem indicating top of sheet.

Nice material, soft, washes and dries well in washing machine and dryer

Sval och skön,offwhite passar till allt. Prisvärd. Mycket nöjd, ska köpa fler. .

pure garbage. running colors. very low quality
