But, they would work great for this too. I like that they have a weighted base. Each one is over 12lbs each. The black paint job is clean and even. The webbing works exactly as it should. I bought these to modify for my home gym. Two stanchions make up a stability bar for my walk pad, the other 4 make 2 stability bars for my physical therapy balance work. In case you're interested, I used 2 x 2 cedar lumber and round base handrail mounts Review: Good quality for the money! - Great to keep guesses far enough away from artifacts in our interpretive center. Good quality and easy to assemble. ## Features - Steel & Iron Construction: Standing at an overall height of 35.4 inches (0.9 meters), our crowd control stanchions are crafted from durable stainless steel and robust iron. This moisture-proof and rustproof material ensures long-term durability, resisting scratches and damage. The pole wall thickness measures 0.03 inches (0.8 mm), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. - 4-Way Retractable Belts: Our stanchion set features three 6.6 ft (2 m) retractable belts, allowing convenient setup and flexible crowd control. The 4-way adapter offers isolation from four directions, covering a larger area according to your needs. - Heavy-Duty Base: Designed with a combination of rubber and stainless steel, the base protects against heavy pressure without damaging floors.
