That will make them easier to slide/drag around and will reduce the chance of skin irritation.Keep in mind that this can be a rather uncomfortable process, but the end result is well worth it, in my opinion. Stationary use works amazingly well on muscle “knots.” Dragging works best on ropes/bumpy feeling muscles. If treatment is too uncomfortable during use, reduce how much “squeeze” you use when placing the cups - less compression while placing them correlates with a more gentle treatment. This came a day early and as soon as I got it, I opened and used. I've been struggling with sciatic and muscle pain on my lower back/hip area and about a couple of hours after use, the pain minimized then later, I can completely move/rotate and no pain just slightly sore.
