We have really tall doors. Is there an extension for the wand?

This is a very cool solution for securing a door to prevent child accidents. It looks like it is possible to make a longer wand by using a hardwood 1/4" dowel rod and drilling a small hole at the top and inserting a small nail to hold it in the top of the bracket. It may take a little trial and error but it looks doable.

I need something for our SCREEN doors. Little man can now reach and unlock the screen and escape. Will this work for us?

No, this product is designed for use on interior doors only.

Do you have to drill into the door to install this?

Although it may be possible, given the width of the screw used as the secure "post," drilling a pilot hole seems wise (the only way I have installed this post).

Will it work on a storm door ?

No. The sliding plastic is designed to fit a standard interior door and it needs space at the top to slide back and forth.
