Compact Stereo System with CD Player for Home, 30W Crisp-Sound Speakers

Very pleased with the sound, quality and price

Nice little sound system for bedroom. Easy to understand and set up. This is 3rd cd player i have tried, this one i am keeping!

Bought this a month ago hoping it would make it easier to switch between our 500+ Christmas songs and 5,000+ other songs. This is the only unit I could find with a USB port, and Shuffle play option, which works fine. We let it run 24x7. But there are two issues with USB. First, I loaded the Christmas music and noticed it kept stopping after an hour or two. Customer Service said to find the bad songs and rename them something simple with just letters and numbers. That didn't work, so instead I deleted the 6 songs (mostly from foreign CD's). It hasn't crashed in over a week of non-stop playing now. BTW, the bad songs work fine on my PC, phone, and an Mp3 player. Second USB issue is that there are only 3 digits for the song number. So I loaded a few thousand songs on another USB drive to see what would happen when it reached 999. After several attempts, it never recognized more than 714 songs, After that, it either stops playing or returns to the first song, or keeps randomly playing the 714 songs - depending on which playback mode is selected. So I will be using a Bluetooth MP3 player for our other music after Christmas. This also meets our goal of easy transitions between our two song categories. I'm still giving the system 4 stars despite all the extra work I went through because I love the simplicity of the layout and size of the system. Radio and CD work fine, and it sounds good with our previous speakers - as long as we use the Jazz or Classical EQ setting. The other EQ settings have far too much bass, even with the small speakers that come with the system.

my husband requested a speaker system that allows BT and CDs and this one worked great for us. I got it used for about $80 and it has great sound quality for that price! our house isn't huge, so the sound output on this is more than sufficient for our little dance parties.

I just unboxed and used this unit for the first time today. Small footprint but big sound. So very easy to assemble and use. It does not come with battereies so have 2 AAA batteries on hand. I bought this unit in particular because it has a PROMINENT FRONT ACCESS USB SLOT. I wanted a unit that would play cds but also music from USB FLASH Drives. I also wanted speakers that had lead wires that insert into the back of the tuner. I have Bose speakers that I want to try to use with this system. Haven't done so yet but that is my tommow plan. Worst issues are for me: 1) the small print and illustration in the litle manual of the remote. I can't read either the symbols on the remote or the manual. So, I had to mock up a drawing with labels until I get to know the remote better. 2) Base sound quality is not too great with some CDs. However, I learned that at the very bottom of the remote on the right side the EQ button will allow you to select music types: POP, ROCK, CLASSICAL, JAZZ AND FLAT. WHILE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT FLAT MEANS, I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT IS ADVISABLE TO USE THE EQ AND SELECT A SETTING THAT WILL ALLOW BETTER FIDELITY FROM THE SPEAKERS. High range on the speaker is very clear. 3) UPDATED 11/6/25 - I RETURNED THE FIRST UNIT BECAUSE THE CD PLAYER WAS NOT LOADING ALL CDs. I GOT A REPLACEMENT UNIT AND THE SAME ISSUE IS HAPPENING. I AM SO VERY DISAPPONTED. BTW - I USED IDENTICAL CDs to test both units - whether the CDs are store bought or burned at home doesn't matter. Some of both play and some of both do not.

Perfect for a 13 year old! Great sound and loud enough!

The stereo is small and I didn’t expect too much from it. I read a lot of reviews and compared a lot of items before I purchased this one. I only needed it for my room. I opened and set it up and the lighting for the modes some of them were out. And the sound from the speakers sound muffled and there’s no way to adjust tremble or base making for a very poor quality when trying to listen to music. Also, the tuner on the radio itself the buttons are most inconvenient. The plastic almost feels like it could break it when pressing the buttons. It’s just very cheaply made. I will be returning this item. And looking for a better quality bookshelf stereo.

Crisp clean sound and helpful support settings up.

Very compact and very good sound clarity

Das Teil klingt klingt schlimmer als das 80iger Jahre Radio meiner Oma. Absoluter Blechdosensound, 50 Euro sind Absoluter Wucher

Kann davon nur abraten. CD-player war nach ca. 1Monat defekt. Wer billig kauft, kauft 2 mal.
