Most people don't want to become expert knife sharpeners, but just need a way to get their everyday knives, whether kitchen, utility or survival, to a rapid and useable edge. This sharpener fits the bill. After a very few passes across the fine stone, a few on the ceramic hone and the strop, I was able to slice multiple find slices of paper with ease. I mean like butter ease! It's easy to use, easy to store, safe to use and has a decent grip. I would say this has the best value for the money and time to produce a keen edge than ANY other sharpener on the market. I'm going to order another just in case they ever stop making this one.
