how much product does it come with? it says .05 but thats tiny so is it really .5 oz?

It is really .5 oz. It's the same size as 90% of all the nail polishes out there. It sounds small but it's really not.

Is it a gel? Do I need that fancy led light space machine?

Nope! Just a regular nail polish, no trips to NASA headquarters for fancy light space machines needed. A glossy top coat is recommended though because it dries a bit matte for me personally!

how large is the brush?

It is a standard nail polish brush

How is the coverage with the jackie o - gel

It takes two coats because after the first coat it still looks very light and see through. After a second coat it looks great. This is a lacquer though and not a gel. Your question said gel at the end so I just wanted to make sure you were aware of that.
