I want/ need a pen that is comfortable in the hand, glides with ease across paper, has a bold/ easy to see ink, doesn’t smudge easily, and write for a long time. This pen checks off all of those points nearly perfectly. For the budget, of which I am on, I believe this is the perfect pen. My only slight complaint is that it can be easy to smudge if toughed too quickly, but it hasn’t been a big problem for/ it’s just the nature of gel pens. For right handlers, it’s a near zero problem, but may present an issue for leftys. Overall, I cannot recommend this pen enough. It’s a pleasure to write with. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't leak ink like pilot G2's do *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 April 2026* Absolutely love these pens, I do a lot of paperwork at my job and these are the only pens that I've ever been able to use the entirety of the ink, without it leaking. They write just as good (in my opinion, significantly better) than the standard Pilot G2 pens. Actually started using these because after a while, the G2's would start leaking ink really badly from the tip of the pen. The writing almost looks like it came from a fine tip sharpie. And, coming from someone who's left handed, the ink dries quickly so it doesn't smudge as often.
