The holding arm is very adjustable to any orientation or angle. It holds my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly as well. It holds my tablet too, but being heavier, I have to adjust the angle and keep an eye on it or it will tip over. I would not trust it with a tablet and an open drink container unless it's under constant supervision, ha ha! But other than that minor quibble, this is exactly what I needed and more. I bought something and it didn’t work. It was very flimsy Then I went searching and I found this item and it was a game changer. It’s the best thing possible. I keep my coffee on it. Keep my water on it a snack it’s very sturdy. It has a bean bag bottom. So you can arrange it to adjust to whatever position you want it higher or lower and the arm is metal and you can arrange a higher lower back and forth. It’s just amazing insert comes out so you can wash it. I recommend this 1000%. It’s a great value for your money.
