The Tic Tac helped a little cause I was bending my arm in the backswing quite a bit. I mainly use video cameras for my swing analysis outside. And have Mirrors inside to look at my swing in the winter. I have a couple swing radar units that measure my swing speed and tempo. I also bought recently the Swing/Voice Caddie SC200 and tried it inside cause of cold weather at my local golf course that had a launch monitor. The SC200 seemed to track very well compared the Launch monitor and registered every swing. There are mixed reviews how well the device works, but I had no problems as long as I hit good solid shots. Got it for the Swing speed and Carry distance but has many other measurements with the device. Only tried it with irons so far. Also there is a voice that shouts out the distances. I will see how well it works outside next year. I don't do anything special with putting. I am a pretty good putter and feel I am either going make some and miss some. If you are having major problems with you swing, go see your local Pro or a friend that is a good golfer to help you out. You can even control the amount of bend in your elbow, loosening the straps will allow more bend and when tightened it becomes more sesitive allowing less bend. You can also use it on your trailing elbow to help increase your swing arc width. **Q: How does it help when used on the right elbow** A: I use it on the left elbow as I am a right hander and it works great **Q: I see people writing about putting the swing trainer on properly and then adjusting it. Does it include instructions or is it easy to figure out?** A: I havent used this trainer for quite a while. I found it pretty straight forward in how to put it on correctly and I think there was instructions with it. The whole object of this trainer is to keep your left arm straight in the backswing giving more leverage to the swing.. Allot of people when they swing bend their left arm which loses power in the swing. Of course you have to do the proper shoulder turn and hip turn to keep the left arm straight. I did have a Pro show me how to use it properly in my swing. There may be you tube videos on using this device. Dont know if this answers your question or not. It does nothing to keep the lead arm fully extended. It just clicks if you don't keep your arm extended.
