Review: Rugged and Reliable! - I ordered this case before I left for my work as an open water swim guide and did not try it out before I left, taking a leap of faith after reading other reviews that it would work. Four weeks on the open water in the Ionian Sea, plus the occasional downpours really put it to the test and it worked like a champ! Not one leak. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and used it to take photos and videos of the swimmers while they were in the water. This meant that my phone was in and out of my pockets, dry and soaking wet, or placed on the boat console. I love that - it kept my phone safe in the salt water and rain; it held up to being dropped several times; the touchscreen is responsive; it was easy to install on the phone; no distortion in the photos or videos.The wrist strap is a nice bonus and I used it often. Customer service is very responsive. I thought there was an issue with the case because my camera lens would not focus. I got an immediate response back from Sportlink. Turns out it was an iPhone issue. Great product that I highly recommend!!
Review: Works just as well as the other top-brand expensive waterproof cases at a fraction of the cost! - Overall: If you're looking for a "LifeProof" / OtterBox Frē case, save your money and get this case instead! I bought this for an iPhone 17 Pro Max that already had an OtterBox waterproof case that was breaking on two of the corners. Because I've had the expensive cases already AND I know the nature of these types of cases (as I've had LifeProof cases for a LONG time prior to this), there are things you should expect including (but not limited to) sound issues (muffling of speakerphone/general audio), and screen visibility issues (from either glare or plastic-to-ceramic-shield water look). Here's my review as I hope it will help others: 1) The color: I got the basic black switching from my typical olive green and gold look. There were other colors available, but I decided to do black this time and was pleasantly surprised that the back was more of a slightly-opaque charcoal which makes the Apple logo visible. 2) The fit: Tight. Very tight. It comes with instructions on how to fit it properly to your phone (but who reads those, right?!) I was really worried when I got it to snap together because I know how hard they are to open again, but this one came with a case key just in case. The backside is etched perfectly for the camera area with covers for all three lenses, the flash, and microphone. They also accommodate for the LiDAR scanner. I've only taken a few photos here at the office and haven't run into any issues with photos (i.e. no issues with auto-focus, etc.) 3) The grip: It's like a slightly matted rubber squared-off grip making it easy to hold and maneuver. Slides in and out of your pocket with ease. The back is a hard matted plastic that, again, makes it easy to slide in and out of your pocket. The buttons are waterproofed, and if you follow the instructions (okay, I didn't at first -- my bad!), the buttons should line up. In my instance, I didn't align mine with the mute button (action button) as prescribed in the instructions. Luckily, I didn't seal the case at that point because the buttons didn't feel quite right until I removed the phone from the case, then placed it back in accordingly. My wish on this would be that the instructions are updated slightly to let the user know to align it with the "Action Button" rather than "Mute Button" as I don't think the iPhone 18 Pro Max, like my 17 Pro Max, has a dedicated "Mute" button as such. 4) Issues you should know now include what I said earlier -- Waterproof cases will muffle the sound a bit. These cases were designed to work with Bluetooth wireless devices and/or other wireless devices. Surprisingly, the wireless charging seems to work with a bit more heating up, but it also has a port on the bottom to work with your fast-charging USB-C cable. (NOTE: I have both a straight Apple USB-C cable and an Anker USB-C cable that features an angle on one end, and while the straight ends work just fine, the angled part of the Anker cable didn't fit quite right as it would reach through the case to the phone. So watch for angled adapters!) 5) I was also surprised that the case is compatible with the camera control button, BUT the camera controls become slower to respond so if you use the camera control frequently, this case might not be for you. Honestly, I'm happy with this one especially since it didn't cost $100 and still offers enough protection with the ease-of-handling design. If you're going after your first waterproof case, I can tell you that this one stands up to the expensive competition.

I ordered this case before I left for my work as an open water swim guide and did not try it out before I left, taking a leap of faith after reading other reviews that it would work. Overall: If you're looking for a "LifeProof" / OtterBox Frē case, save your money and get this case instead! I bought this for an iPhone 17 Pro Max that already had an OtterBox waterproof case that was breaking on two of the corners. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robust, protective, light and easy to install

The best case I’ve had for any phone pro max model since the iPhone 12. Great price so if you do drop it, and the screen cracks; just buy another and replace like a screen protector. It’s super easy to install without any issue of getting it on wrong, the touch screen protector is at least 2x better (stronger) than the $50+ one you would get from your wireless carrier but this one includes the entire case. Just a much better design than others out there. The case is a perfect fit, without being bulky. It’s super light and protects the phone from water issues as it encloses it entirely, with all the good things about a 360 case with none of the bad (not bulky, flat 9H glass screen protector that feels as if you’re still touching the actual screen. The MagSafe works flawlessly, actually better than if you had it just your phone and no case. The magnetic ring built in as part of the case is 2-3x stronger than the stock built in one inside the phone. So using an “andobil” magnetic ring holder (helps to hold the phone and acts a stand etc) stays stuck much more so than any other case I’ve had previously since iPhone 12 MagSafe came out. I drop my phone all the time and usually the magnet ring goes flying everytime. With this case it has to be a drop so hard the case could break and even then the magnet still stays stuck. I bought 3 of these in a row just to have for when I crack the screen (I drop my phone all the time… butterfingers). It took a beating before I actually cracked the first protector. Simple easy removal and pop a new one on, no need to even watch an install before etc. it’s fast and easy to change.
