Review: Iron knives with plastic grip - For under 500 getting iron knives that are sharp is great. Remember the japanese sell similar iron knives at a premium. The grip isn't wood it's plastic. These knives are sharp be careful not to give them to children without supervision. The knives are good to cut mangoes, rather skin mangoes, they are good to cut vegetables and tender meat too. Since I am in Delhi NCR the order took more than a week to reach me, but it is well worth the wait.

I have been using it for years. Needs timely sharpening (which is a good thing). Made of iron (and not stainless steel). Very durable. Very sharp (watch out while using!).
