Works quite well in discouraging scratching. Application is easy and stays on well.

Worked as it should and stopped my cats from scratching the corners of my couches. They are easy to put up and the clear material means it’s not too noticeable. I’ve only had to retighten some of the screws once or twice in the year I’ve had them up. Quick and lasting solution for a great price.

The protectors do help reduce scratching on my sofa, but they don’t stick very well on certain fabrics and sometimes peel off after a few days. The twist pins help a bit, though they can leave small marks. It’s an affordable solution, but not a complete fix if your cat is determined.

Having different sized sheets was so helpful, they can also be cut for thinner parts parts of the couch. I liked that they were very hard to see once applied correctly. They really blend into the couch. They were super easy to set up. My only issues is how easily they come off at times. Even when using the pins just snagging a corner can have it coming off. The pins are also pretty flimsy, I’ve had a few bend and break while removing them from the couch

I wasn’t sure if these would work, but they actually do. My cat no longer scratches the corners of the couch. While they aren’t exactly attractive, they do at least blend in because they are clear. One piece is the right size for the corner of my couch (I made sure it was placed exactly where she tended to scratch) and they also have sufficient stickiness because they’ve stayed in place for several months. All in all, this was a good purchase because they are effective in doing what they were designed to do.

This is saving my couch. Works great, no more scratching! My cats like to pull themselves across the bottom of the couch and they were tearing up the material. I trimmed the loose threads and stuck this on, I didn’t even use the pins that came with and it stays on nicely. Looks OK.

I purchased a new couch and was nervous about my cat using it as its new scratch post. It has now been five weeks since I had my couch, and my cat has not attempted to scratch the couch with the guards in place. The protectors are great. They have a sticky side that you put to the couch. And I like the clear pins for extra attachment . The protectors are not too noticeable, not to take away from the aesthetics of the couch in the room.For as little as they cost, it is a great investment to protect your new couch.
