Review: Nostalgic Fun for a New Generation. Just Wish It Had a Pause Button! - I bought this Tamagotchi for my son, and he absolutely loves it! What a blast from the past I grew up playing with one myself, and it’s so special to see my child now enjoying the same classic toy. It’s fun, engaging, and teaches a bit of responsibility, which is great. However, one downside is that there's no way to pause the game. As a young child, my son sometimes forgets to take care of his Tamagotchi, and he gets really sad when it "leaves *_*" I wish there were an option to pause or put it on hold, especially for younger users who can’t monitor it all day. Pros: Nostalgic and fun Great for kids Encourages responsibility Cute and engaging gameplay Cons: No pause feature not ideal for younger children who can’t always keep up Overall, it’s a wonderful toy that brings back great memories and creates new ones. I would definitely purchase again!
Review: it’s fun to have on you for nostalgia - not as needy as i remember! you can also mute the tamohatchi by holding down the A and C buttons when needed. it’s fun to have on you and for the value it’s a great digital simple pet. It’s exactly how i remembered tamagotchis being when i was younger except it not being backlit

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Desk Toy. Great toy for kids. (For under $20)
*by R***J on July 6, 2026*

Its a simple tamagotchi. This is an angel one and only has 5 final characters apparently. I like it so far and for the sale price its worth it. (Under $18 at time.) I am a 36yo man and wanted a desk toy to get off my phone but also remind me to take breaks from my computer screen and desk during work. Tamagotchi does just that. I work from home so I can leave the beeps on and get reminders. I am thinking of getting some for my nieces and nephews. Just be careful youre getting the kind you want, there are regular tamagotchi and angel tamagotchi. And yes there is a way to turn off the sound. Wish it had a pedometer feature in 2026. 5 stars for under $20 price.
