This drum set is awesome. You can Bluetooth to the module using Spotify, or other music streaming services you have and you can practice the drums to songs through the headset!!! I have experienced zero lag while doing so. This is a great learning tool, and also perfect for beginners up to Advanced players. You can upgrade with more cymbals or drums if you want by adding to the drum module stand. If you need this for a church that does not have acoustic drum set and you need to plug into the speakers. This is a very viable option. It has MIDI ports as well out USB-C port, and an AUX out. Very awesome and well worth it. I have been playing drum since the fifth grade and needed a drum set for my apartment. Also, yes, this is adult sized. Love it!

Great kit for beginners or intermediate drummers! I’m not a professional drummer by any means so I wasn’t looking for a pro type of kit. This was with the price range and has a ton of features! Was highly impressed!

This Donner Backbeat drum set is amazing! I purchased this looking for something my daughter would like and enjoy. It woke up the old drummer in me from when I was a kid. I love it my daughter loves it too. I will soon purchase a second set so we can learn together!

Bought in Dec 2025 still rocking out just as new in may 2026! Awesome kit! Better then my old Roland TD11K! *** Update keep in mind this system only gets about 2hrs of use a month. So only after 9 months or 18hrs of use. the left crash is missing 30-50% of its hits! Contacted Amazon they sent me a link to the seller, who sends me a link to Amazon! And nobody wants to help. Avoid this set. :(

Best e kit out of four I've owned. Sounds are uoler-mid tier. Lights, internal cabling, setup are the best experiences ever. 30 minutes and we were drumming. Smartly packed, touchscreen has no lag, works well, and the whole thing looks brilliant!

Great kit. My son loves them. He uses them to practice for jazz band at school and can change the setup to practice quad-toms for marching band. Fun lights. Easy set up.

This kit has lots to like, easy setup, sturdy frame with internal wiring, large touchscreen module, cool LEDs, and a pretty good selection of kits and sounds. I got it for a good price on an Amazon Prime sale and the mesh pads were a major upgrade to the all rubber pads of my previous kit. For any new prospective buyers, there’s some things I wish I was aware of before purchasing. Expandability. Yes you can add an extra cymbal and tom pad. Where can you get them? Not from Donner. You want an extra pad with the leds? Nope, they don’t make them. Not even the mounting hardware. You want to upgrade to a 3 Zone ride? Sorry you can’t, even though they make a “Pro” version that includes one and uses the same module. Can you use a 3rd party manufacturer? Yes but you’ll get no LED and no 3 zone bell. I would gladly trade away the LEDs for a 3 zone ride. So before purchasing, please ask yourself if future expansion is important and if it is, go with something else.
