There are other models with less powerful magnets. I would not recommend this item to clean a window that you have access to both sides. I did find it very effective when cleaning my apartment windows on the 19th floor, where I had no ability to reach most of the outside window pane. **Q: How do you take it off the window?** A: You basically pry the two halves apart - twisting one and holding the other in place. These are designed for windows with different thickness (i.e. single pane, double pane etc) so if the distance between your inside and outside pane of glass is less than the distance the specific version is recommended for, it can be hard to separate the two parts. **Q: What kind of cleaner do you use with this tool?** A: Any normal window cleaner. When you use it it is best to moisten the pads thoroughly both sides. Otherwise it doesn't move smoothly and can fall off. **Q: How can I separate a stuck baddest magnet** A: Nearly impossible to achieve. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great solution for cleaning hard to access windows *by M***H on July 13, 2019* We had been looking for a solution to cleaning inaccessible exterior windows on first and second floors. This seemed like a smart idea and it works really well. The magnets are extremely powerful so make sure you order the correct version depending on your window thickness or it might be hard to separate them once attached on either side of the window. The small sponge to hold cleaning fluid/soap, the washable pads, the built in rubber squeegee to wipe the fluid off without streaks - all of it well designed and very easy to use. The build quality seems pretty good - got 16 windows cleaned inside and out in an afternoon and no problems so far. Do be careful though - the magnets are so powerful you could break a finger if not careful. ### ⭐ Be careful unless you want to lose a finger! *by J***Y on April 14, 2025* What a dangerous and useless product. It almost took my fingers off with the incredibly strong magnets on 2-3 occasions and when I finally was able to use it on a window by carefully and slowly gliding the two half together so as not to break the window, it still made a jittery track across the outer window and left streaks everywhere. The tiny triangles of sponge can't possibly clean windows with any efficacy. Thankfully, it wasn't expensive, but it wasn't worth it either. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, just watch your fingers! *by G***P on December 11, 2020* This product contains very strong magnets. Do not let the two sides get near each other without the guard, and be VERY sure your fingers are nowhere near the interior. Even allowing the two pieces within 6 inches of the other will attract them, and quickly! This happened to me twice - the first time my fingers were trapped within the center and getting the pieces apart was a monumental feat. After I extracted my fingers the pieces would not budge apart. Had to take a screwdriver to wedge them away from each other. As far as the product’s effectiveness, I have a large second floor picture window in between two double hung windows that had streak of chalky discoloration in the center. Would not hose off, and it was just beyond reach of the window squeegee extender handle.I put a wet scrubber pad against the glass, held it with the outside piece, then attached the inside piece. I moved the cleaner back & forth over the area slowly. The window cleaner & scrubber actually removed the discoloration, while holding the pieces tight in the process. This is a very good product, great invention ~ just guard your fingers carefully! ## Frequently Bought Together - Baffect Double Sided Magnetic Window Cleaner, Window Cleaning Tools Glasses Cleaner Cleaning Brush for High Windows Thickness 18-30mm - Unger Professional Streak-Free EasyGlide Glass Cleaner Concentrate, 32 oz – Ammonia-Free, Makes 25 Gallons of Solution , Safe for Tinted Windows, LOW-E Glass, Windshields & Mirrors --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/63717047-baffect-double-sided-magnetic-window-cleaner-window-cleaning-tools-glasses](https://www.desertcart.no/products/63717047-baffect-double-sided-magnetic-window-cleaner-window-cleaning-tools-glasses) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
