e.l.f. Lock It Down Eyeshadow Primer

This is my second time buying this primer because I liked it so much the first time. It goes on smooth and clear, and my eyeshadow stays in place for as long as I’m wearing it without creasing or getting cakey. I also use it when I wear winged eyeliner, and it helps keep the liner from fading throughout the day. That’s especially impressive for me living in humid Florida. It’s become one of those makeup products I know I’ll keep repurchasing.

I wear it on my eyelids, closest to my eyelashes where I put my eyeliner, cause it prevents the eyeliner from getting up onto my upper lid or smearing. Have recommended it to others who also found it helpful.

I do not like this eyelid primer as well as the previous one that e.l.f had so I will not be ordering it again. I found a Neutrogena one that I like almost as well as the first eyelid primer that e.l.f had previously.

Wow! I am 62 years young and this product is amazing on my eyelids. It’s hot in Texas & let me tell you it works all day! My eyeshadow is on until I take it off. I have used the expensive eyeshadow primers nope! Could not stand up in the heat. Buy this it’s awesome

This is great this primer holds the makeup on for long periods of time I couldn't be in the jungle with humidity and sweat on my face and this was still hold my eyeliner and makeup like it's nothing highly recommend

Wanted a primer that worked without the price. This was it. Thinner formula than what I regularly used, but really I like ir. Will order again!

Hello!!! If u want ur shimmers to stay, definitely use this product! NOT greasy. The applicator it may seem creamy, so u think it might apply like a concealer, but once applied, it’s transparent. I genuinely recommend this.

C’est un primer peu cher, il fait ce qu’il doit faire, le maquillage tient bien par la suite !

This is a brilliant budget-priced item, and you get so much for your money. For me, there is a sweet spot for getting the best results, and that’s to just to use a medium amount, and slightly less than I think I need. It gives a very smooth base to apply eyeshadow to, and it helps it not to clump in the crease. Blending takes a little more work, but it’s literally a few more seconds, and it stays where you want it to be. It really does help the colour to be vibrant and true, and it gets the best out of even cheaper eyeshadows. It doesn’t perform as well as high-end brands, but there isn’t a huge amount in it, and seeing as I'd rather not throw my money away, I’d go for this one every time.
