Meguiers makes other foam pads that work much better for rotary machines **Q: Will 5" backing plate fit the meguire's da polisher model g110v2?** A: This is the replacement for for thew old W series of backing plates . This will fit into any DA Polisher **Q: Would this fit a Harbor freight DA polisher?** A: Yes it will. It has 5/16" threads and will fit on their DA Long Throw Polisher. **Q: Should I buy the 6" Meguiars pads for this 5" packing plate? I would think a little overhang is good. Or is the 5" good and have some overlap on sides** A: I would go with the 5 1/2" pads. The ones I use and have had great success with are these: Orange Light Cutting CCS Smart PadsTM Da 5.5 Inch Foam Pads -3 Pack. These are made by Lake Country and available on Amazon. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High Quality and Fast Cutting *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 December 2025* Super high quality, worked really well compounding my freshly painted and wet sanded paint. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 30 August 2025* Great quality pads.Paired with the D300 compound, it cut fast and safely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good cutting pad. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 November 2022* ## Frequently Bought Together - Meguiar's DA 5’’ Microfiber Cutting Disc, Microfiber Pads Compatible with a DA Polisher for Car Detailing, That Removes Moderate Scratches, Swirls, and Paint Defects, 2 Pack - Meguiar's DA Microfiber Finishing Disc DMF5-5" Microfiber Finishing Disc for Waxing with a Variable Dual Action Polisher, Use with DA Microfiber Finishing Wax to Remove Defects and Add Wax, 2 Pack - Meguiar’s 5” Soft Buff DA Foam Polishing Disc DFP5 - Hook and Loop Pad for Use with a 5” DA Backing Plate, Dual Action Polisher, and Light Cleaner or Polish to Enhance Shine --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/63020571-meguiars-microfibre-cutting-disc-factory-5-cutting-disc-dmc5](https://www.desertcart.no/products/63020571-meguiars-microfibre-cutting-disc-factory-5-cutting-disc-dmc5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
