Review: Great quality - Great product as advertised. Had ring solar panels needed universal connector to power other devices. Did the job wonderfully. Review: Works like a charm with 2K Ring camera and original solar panel. - Worked like a charm, initially thought it was not working as my camera did not detect the solar panel and then gave me the "wired" mode which I clicked. Lesson learned, it takes a bit of force to make contact with the 2k camera and the original generation solar panels from Ring. It does work, and I just ignored the "wired" prompt the second time around. Very happy with the purchase, no issues detected since installation on the first day, battery remains charged and charging with extra activity. Very easy to install with force, and great value as it saved me from buying another solar panel. ## Features - Hassle-Free Power Bridging：This white Ring Barrel Plug to USB-C Adapter closes the compatibility gap between your existing Ring barrel-plug solar panels and new USB-C security cameras, delivering a steady power supply to keep your surveillance running without interruptions - Optimized for Ring Barrel-Plug Solar Panels：Tailored specifically to work with Ring’s 1st Generation Solar Panel and Super Solar Panel, it lets you easily reuse your current solar equipment when upgrading to newer camera models - Broad Compatibility with Ring USB-C Cameras：Fully works with Ring security cameras that use USB-C input, such as Spotlight Cam Plus (Battery & Solar versions), Spotlight Cam Pro (Battery & Solar versions), and Stick Up Cam Pro (Battery & Solar versions), supporting flexible use across your entire security system - Exclusive to Ring Devices：Designed solely for the specified Ring solar panels and USB-C cameras. Did the job wonderfully. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works like a charm with 2K Ring camera and original solar panel. *by E***I on June 26, 2025* Worked like a charm, initially thought it was not working as my camera did not detect the solar panel and then gave me the "wired" mode which I clicked. Lesson learned, it takes a bit of force to make contact with the 2k camera and the original generation solar panels from Ring. It does work, and I just ignored the "wired" prompt the second time around. Very easy to install with force, and great value as it saved me from buying another solar panel. ### ⭐ Didn’t work *by B***N on September 21, 2026* After a careful review of all the possible choices, I chose this adapter for my new Ring Spot Light Camera that uses a usb-c power cord from the Ring Solar Panel. In my case an is an older panel that has a barrel plug. The adapter was chosen as the details indicated that it would easily convert from the barrel plug to the usb-c plug with my solar panel. After many attempts, the panel was not charging the camera battery. The panel is functioning properly since I reconnected the old camera to test it. It was unfortunate since it arrived quickly and looks well made. I returned it for a refund and ordered the actual Ring adapter. It arrived but not installed as yet. You might have better luck. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ring Barrel Plug to USB-C Adapter for USB-C Cameras and Barrel Plug Solar Panels - Black I For Solar Panel (1st Gen), Super Solar Panel, Stick Up Cam Pro, Spotlight Cam Plus, Spotlight Cam Pro - Ring Spotlight Cam Plus, Plug-in | Two-Way Talk, Color Night Vision, and Security Siren (2022 release) - White - xsdtech Ring USB-C to Barrel Plug Adapter for USB-C Solar Panels and Barrel Plug Cameras --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/629734721-white-ring-barrel-plug-to-usb-c-adapter-compatible-1st](https://www.desertcart.no/products/629734721-white-ring-barrel-plug-to-usb-c-adapter-compatible-1st) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
