Desk Mouse Pad

Use this multiple hours every day. Bought it originally to use outside on the patio picnic table for my laptop. Did not function well for me there. Brought it inside to use for the mouse for my desktop computer and it works very well. I have chronic carpal tunnel, and this device keeps me from having to reach at all for the mouse. It is always just at my side. It clamps down well on my computer table. Stays put. I have to slightly reposition it maybe once every 6 months at the most. Lots of use, and it shows no wear at all. Rotates back under the desk with ease when not in use. (But it nearly always is!) Highly recommend, and would certainly buy again if needed.

I require a wrist rest due to arthritis and repetitive stress syndrome. This little mouse pad works OK, but I wish I could find a larger one. Even without the wrist rest, it is barely big enough to allow movement of the mouse without constantly "relocating" it on the pad. Also, it tilts a bit; so when I leave my desk, I have to make sure my mouse is located where it will not slide off the pad and onto the floor. I can use it, but it does put a little stress on my hand. Will continue with this until I can find a larger one with the same kind of mount.

This was very easy to assemble and attach to the desk. The mouse pad snaps securely onto the bracket, then there’s a large screw piece you raise or lower to secure it to the desk. It’s easy to rotate, and stays in place wherever you position it. There’s enough space between the pad and desk that you can leave a standard mouse on it when you rotate it back under the desk for storage. I’m not sure how well it would hold a wired mouse unless you had a long cord. The use area is about the size of a standard mousepad, so there’s a normal amount of room to move your mouse. I bought this because my cat loves sleeping right next to my keyboard and would often leave me with maybe a 2” x 2” area to move my mouse. Now he can sleep in his favorite spot and I can use my mouse without frustration.

Some good things (initially) then some bad (after using it a few days). Rudimentary installation, but be mindful how this mouse tray will work in your application. Read all the specs carefully. Take my computer desk - it is a typical laminate over composite wood type with 2 sets of drawers on either side. To sit comfortably at my desk, I have to sit low to the ground leaving the desk height a little high. At the computer, I primarily use my mouse -- about 70% of the time. I needed a mouse tray to sit slightly lower than the top of the desk to avoid strain in my arm. I also needed to find a mouse tray that would sit high enough so the arms of my chair would not bump into it whenever I moved the chair. This tray was perfect for that! Took me 5 minutes to clamp this baby on and my arm instantly felt better. However, there were problems after the 2nd day of use. Here is how I resolved them. 1. The tray kept slipping off the desk, the clamp would not stay put and the tightening bolt underneath would loosen. When I place my hand on my mouse to move it, the tray lowers from the weight about 1/4" at my wrist. I'm a gal, so a guy's hand would be much heavier and I would surmise the pad would lower even further, increasing the slippage. First I tried applying double sided foam tape replacing the gripper pad under the clamp so that it would actually stick to the surface of my desk to stop the slipping. That worked for about 1 hour. Finally, I got out my drill and made a hole in the top part of the clamp, straight into my desktop then put in a wood screw to permanently hold it in place. So far, that solution is working like a dream. Stays put and it actually feels more sturdy as well. (Manufacturer could add a hole like I made myself and supply a wood screw in the package for customers who might appreciate that feature.) BTW - I see some reviews saying the clamp is cheap plastic. It really isn't -- when I drilled the hole, metal shavings were curling out, so it IS metal not plastic. #2. The edge of the pad has a raised ridge of plastic going all around that does tend to get uncomfortable where my wrist sits on top of it. I have a mouse pad with a wrist support that I have been using on top of the tray and now it's very comfortable. So, I will keep this tray because I was able to adapt it to my situation. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but well, you know.

I needed an ad-on mouse table for a roll around medical trolley that held a laptop. This mouse table fixed to the trolley platform worked perfectly. It fastened to the table well and can be rotated under the table to put away. This is a good adjustable mouse tray that could only be improved if the mouse table were made of medal instead of plastic.

I love this! I have shoulder issues and not having to hold my arm up and out all day is really helping!!

This works perfectly for me! It was simple to put together and is fairly sturdy. So far it has rotated without any problems.

I wanted a mousepad that I could have hovering above my keyboard. However, the moment in came in the mail I knew this wouldn't work. It's the most Chinese packaging I've ever seen. Almost nothing was in english. After "installing it" the swivel would swing at the slightest effort. If you try to put it above your keyboard, there won't be enough room and it just crushes your keyboard if you try to to put it in. I tried reversing the pad to go upright instead of hanging below, but the way it's build makes the swivel not click in if you try it that way, making it more vulnerable to pointless swinging.

I cant believe i got ripped off, just got mine, it is cheaply made. Dont let the pictures fool you, they advertise with no writing on it, mine was opened when it arrived, and there is writing on the top left. Im so disappointed.

This is great as I do not have to use the mouse on the desktop anymore. I have a slide out keyboard which this sits next to at the same height. Much more comfortable. The attachment is tricky as you really need a wrench to tighten it completely so it doesn't slide. Otherwise a great buy!

Disappointing. Cheaply made, flimsy and small.

It seems a little flimsy but works in my situation because my arm rests on the arm of the chair. It was very easy to assemble.

This is honestly so good I got another one for my left hand. With the current work from home issues, my working area is small and was not ergonomic. My table is pretty thin as well, I was initially unsure if the clamp would tighten on such a thin width, but no issues. Saves my wrist and hand a lot of pain! Sturdy construction, would recommend.
