Can I use this to buff the clear wax on chalk painted furniture? Doesn't it scratch the furniture?

It is for the very purpose of buffing the clear wax (and I believe the dark wax as well) on chalk painted furniture. It does not scratch the furniture because the bristles are soft. It does, however, leave brush strokes in the wax if the wax has not set up and gotten hard. Do not use it to apply the wax, use it only for buffing after the wax has set up.

Not perfect for buffing after liming...

In all fairness, I purchased this to buff wood after liming and waxing. Problem is it tends to push the lime paste out of the crooks and crannies where I wanted it to stay. Maybe I just didn't know the proper usage. Would probably be great to buff wax without the lime underneath, which I will try as needed in the future!

I wasn't needing another Scrub Brush

If I wanted a scrub brush, I would have grabbed the one under my kitchen sink! It's a good size and fits well in your hand but it's just way too hard stiff and scratchy to be used for buffing wax on delicate chalk paint. Might work if you're looking to distress but that's not what I was wanting it for.Just out of curiosity, I thought I would do a search for Scrub brushes on Amazon and sure enough there's one selling for 1/2 the price that is almost identical. Oh well!

floor scrubber

I think I paid way too much for this brush for waxing furniture.. When I opened the box .. it is the same as a regular floor scrubber
