Great relief for Degenerative Disc Disease.
I am 6' 4" 250ish lbs. My neck measures 17 3/4". I have been having trouble with my neck for months and at times have had migraine type headaches and numb and tingling legs and arms. Went to Chiro and to Therapist. The best part of those visits was the traction on my neck. Not much movement during the visits but if you have bad discs then you know a little less pressure on your neck makes a big difference. This traction device is awesome. You put it around your neck, fasten the velcro straps and pump it up. It provides just enough lift for your neck that you instantly feel relief in your neck. I have had my left arm partially numb with my hand and fingers tingling when I put this on and inflated it. Within a few minutes the tingling and the numbness lets up and it feels so much better I do not want to take it off. I leave it on for 10-15 minutes and use it 4- or 5 times a day. I have nothing negative to say about this product. Welllll, 1 thing. The bulb to inflate it needed to be installed on the hose. That could be a bit troublesome for some and might be the reason some have had it come loose. If you over inflate it I can see where it will blow the hose off or pop a seam somewhere. It is not the most comfortable to wear but it is only for 15 minutes and the relief it gives is well worth the time and the $18 I paid for it. I got on here to order another for my parents and just thought I would give my opinion and hopefully convince others with the same problem I have to give this a try. I love it and will be using it until the old path through the insurance company lets me get the surgery to fix my neck.

Relief for an old stiff neck
I am in the early stages of stenosis and my neck will sometimes gets real stiff and sounds like someone poured milk in a bowl of rice krispies when I move it. Just a couple of uses of this helped a lot. I now only use it once every other week or so but more times than not it helps tremendously. One thing I will say is the first few minutes after I increase the pressure, I can feel the muscles as they seem to almost spasm slightly. The first time I did this I almost stopped but decided to wait it out. After about 5 minutes I could tell things were calming down and then within another 10 minutes I was relaxed almost as if I had just got up from a massage. The only complaint, and I am being picky in saying this, is I wish it would deflate a little quicker when you release the valve. But I just simply pull the Velcro straps and take it off inflated. Glad I bought it.

It works - Changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars!!!
The product is good quality but difficult to inflate. Feels like I'm squeezing the bulb forever :) I was encouraged to buy this product after reading many positive reviews. The seller did get in touch with me right after the delivery to ensure that the product delivered was working fine. Greatly appreciated that: wonderful customer service for sure. I use it about 3-4 times a week for about 15 min. My problem is severe ( 3 herniated discs) and perhaps that's why I did not find much pain relief with this product. I had to go for multiple steroid injections and the doctors recommended I continue with PT which was becoming too expensive :( I've stopped PT and continue to use this product hoping it provides the stretch and allow me to get the PT exercises at home. Update: The steroid injection only lasted 4 months and some pain and tingling in arms (mainly at night) has returned. I read on one of the websites (Dr. Google :)) that this pneumatic unit can help if used for at least 20 min. twice a day. I have since been using it 2X a day and the tingling has stopped. The pain is now manageable without medication. Still continuing with the PT exercises.

Works as Designed but Didnโt Relieve My Neck Pain
I had high hopes for the BRAUFIT Cervical Neck Traction Device and Adjustable Neck Support, and after using it for a while I can say that it generally does what it claims to do in terms of providing adjustable neck support and traction. The device is easy to put on, and the adjustable design makes it simple to find a comfortable fit. The materials feel reasonably sturdy, and it does create a gentle stretching sensation that aligns with the productโs intended purpose of decompressing the cervical spine. The instructions were straightforward and it only takes a minute or two to set up and use. However, despite using it consistently, I personally didnโt experience the relief for my sore neck that I was hoping for. That said, neck traction can be very individualโwhat works well for one person may not work the same for another. For someone looking to try an at-home traction device for posture or mild decompression, this may still be worth considering. Overall, it appears to be a well-designed product that functions as advertised, but in my case it simply didnโt provide the pain relief I was looking for.

An Excellent Product for those with Neck Pain & Discomfort
My Neck Pain was worsened by improper posture, and I have had Traction Treatments at Physical Therapy. However, this ingenious device makes it possible to do it on your own, at your own home or office. You simply attach it with two velcro strips, and pump the Rubber Bulb, until you feel comfortable with the level of traction. Then lock it in, and It simply Decompresses the Vertebrae, Muscles & Tendons, returning you to the normal Pain-Free condition. Gravity has it's way with our bodies, and the Cervical Spine is no different. It can become very painful, & even cause Headaches. Use this device Gradually, within your comfort zone, starting with just a few minutes at a time, twice a day. Gradually increase the time, and pressure, as you relearn to maintain your Correct Posture. I actually got relief the first day, and it is an Awesome Feeling! This is so much easier than keeping Physical Therapy appointments. Soon you will stand taller, and even adjust the rear view mirror in your car, as little things like this, help you to retrain your muscles and correct your posture! Remember to be patient, and stay within your comfort zone. I use it 4 or 5 times a day now, for about 10 minutes each, and after just days, I feel so much better. I am so glad that I found this product, and BRANFIT is a Great Supplier!

Worked well...
This device absolutely helped with my self-therapy during an extremely painful cervical disc herniation. My chiropractor had given me another at home cervical traction device during my last episode over 5 years ago. But this hernia was abrupt & too painful to leave the house or allow anyone to manipulate my neck in any way. So I needed another traction device quick! I used Prime and received it pretty quickly. After my first use, I noticed some relief. I remembered some of the instructions from my last office visit & I CAREFULLY used this device in a similar manner as other reviewers did as their therapy, as well. The downside is that as I began to use this device during my second treatment, the bulb fell off during treatment. This occurred overnight and I didn't want to wake my family. It was painful trying to find it. Very painful. I'll leave it at that. We eventually found it. And it still has the tendency to detach. It seems as if the rubber around the mouth of the bulb was a bit too loose for the part where it attaches. But at least now I expect it. One month later, I'm no longer in pain. I believe that traction has been excellent therapy for MY cervical herniation. And I do feel that this particular traction device helped a good deal. Just be mindful to keep up with the bulb. :)

Cervical traction thats mobile
I have had another cervical traction contraption and lost a piece when I moved. I looked to find a replacement part when I came across this one. It is so much better than the other one. It is soft, mobile and would travel in a suitcase very well. I dont know if there is an up or down, right or wrong way to place it but I have the lettering on a strap up where it can be read so thats what I am going with. The roller clamp and bulb are on my left side. I would not recommend taking the bulb off the end of the rubber tubing as it is tough to get on, so keep it in place. It takes a lot of pumping to get it inflated so just let some air out between uses using the roller clamp. Close the dial on the bulb and the roller clamp to keep it inflated while using and let a little air out to take it off and store for the next use. Then close the roller clamp if you are going to use soon to keep it aired up. I tried to pump it up all the way but it was WAY too much so inflate to your comfort. I do like that I can sit and watch tv or rate a product on my laptop and am not tethered to a pully system. And the price is much more affordable than some I have seen. I am pleased with the purchase.

Year and a half, still holding strong!
I have to say, for under $15 I wasn't expecting too much, but this thing has far exceeded my expectations in every way. I've had it for about a year and a half and have abused the piss out of it. 2 years ago I started having cervical disc issues and after a while just needed something to relieve the weight of my own head every now and again. I got this intending to use it just when I need a little relief.... but when I say I've abused it, I have ABUSED it and its still holding strong. Ive used it during projects to support my head for hours at a time so I wouldn't be straining my neck muscles so much. Ive slept with it occasionally. Ive used it as a leveraging tool to stretch my neck muscles a LOT (this puts so much pressure on it, and it is not designed for this kind of use). I ended up having a spinal fusion about 7 months back and sometimes preferred this over the brace they gave me after surgery (after the initial 1st week which is the worst). To this day even though I'm starting to gain some normalcy back and less and less pain, I still use it during projects as a reminder to have good posture or lounging around because its just comfy! I'm just so pleased with this sturdy little thing and decided I had to give it a 5 star review and tell the world that I highly recommend it! Its just great! Last side note, there was good thought that went into the design. My favorite part is that you can disconnect the little hand pump to let the air out fast when finished, but I use it to cheat when blowing it up.... since you can disconnect the hand pump, you can actually blow it up quite fast (like a balloon) and then use the hose clamp to stop it from leaking back out while you put the hand pump back on and then fine tune the tightness the rest of the way with that! That way your hand doesn't get tired from pumping so much! It also has a valve that you can loosen to slowly let air out in a controlled manner if you want to gradually reduce pressure before taking it off completely. Its 200% worth every penny, your neck will thank you!

Great price, tidy functional product. Very happy!
I have stenosis & bone on bone C5/C6 so the traction is very helpful and relieving when my muscles spasm. I feel it really makes a difference when I have neck pain. (Squishes my cheeks like a chip-monk if I pump it up too hard - scared my husband - hahahaha!) Thought I'd use it on a long distance flight but it's not really that sort of pillow. Very pleased I bought it, easy purchase and great price. Thanks very much.
