I wanted a cutting mat that was both easy to store but at the same time providing a decent sized working surface.Enter the folding mat. This is ideal as it folds in half and takes up little room in storage (mine sits happily in a drawer when not in use). When unfolded it provides a very good sized work area.I was especially happy with the fold line as when the mat is extended that is hardly noticable.A very useful item.

This is so handy at a vey good price. Wanted this for my sewing and the fact that it folds is not only so great for storage but if I need a smaller canvas or am working on a smaller surface I can still use it. The matt doesn't slide and the material is so great. The blue colour is so lovely as well!

I was expecting something flimsy as it was a folding one. It can be folded out to A3 or left as A4.Even folded out because the "hinge" is scalloped it lays so flat you can't even see it or feel it.Its easy to transport when out sketching makes a firm artist base.I use it for art as its easy to wipe clean but will eventually do collages as its strong enough.It great as when I want my table back it folds and fits into one of my art boxes. Where this would be impossible if I had gone for A3.One thing to mention the measurements are in imperial for an oldie like me this isn't an issue. So do bare that in mind. But as a a protective art mat its superb. Love it.

I'm working on a king-size quilt and needed to cut a gazillion (ok ... 2000) pieces - long strips, triangles, 2" squares, etc. This mat is incredibly versatile. Folded, it fits on my ironing board, so I can press and trim sewn pieces with ease. Opened out, I found it almost as good as my larger, unwieldy mat ... maybe slightly less effective at self-healing than the more 'foamy' surface, as this one is slightly firmer plastic (for a firm not floppy board) ... and I was consistently cutting along the same lines. However, mine folds completely flat, and I didn't notice any issues with the joins, which are cleverly done. Most importantly, it is easy to fold and store. I don't spend my life crafting and cutting, and don't have dedicated space for hobbies ... so being able to clear everything away is important to me, and this folding mat is just the job!

It's priced well, and overall seems pretty good with the folding mechanism looking like a easy way to get A2 sized without having to find somewhere to store a larger mat. I'm yet to actually cut on it.Being from one of the vast majority of countries that deal in metric I'd never experienced getting a product that's imperial measurements only. Despite that it's right there in the title it's not something I was looking out for, so that's my only complaint, as for 95%+ of the world it's non-standard.

Sehr gute Schneidematte für die immer wieder anfallendem Bastelarbeiten. Gleichzeitig ist sie schnell in einer Schublade verschwundennund bracht nicht mehr Platz als ein kleiner Stapel Papier. Für mich ein gutes Tool am Arbeitsplatz.Die nächst größere Variante mit A2 wird sicher bald den Weg auf den Schreibtisch meiner Frau finden.Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass für Eltern das eine gute Option ist, wenn die Kleinen basteln wollen. Keine Zeitungen, die man auslegen muss, keine zerschnittenen Tischdecken oder verschnittenen Tischplatten mehr.Auch Kleber lässt sich recht gut entfernen (zumindest ist das noch bei mir so - noch ist aber das Matte auch noch nicht so häufig mit Cutter und Skalpell in Berührung gekommen.Gutes Allzweckprodukt zu einem fairen Preis!Gerne wieder!
