I had to put the PC on its side and then firmly push in the memory and then make sure the tabs on both sides clicked into place properly. It did seem a little shorter than the original memory, but the specs matched, and the chips looked identical to the original. I got this one and it worked perfectly. I was able to reinstall Windows XP Pro SP3 and install the drivers for my wifi PCI card and my 5 input 2.0 USB PCI card. Only issue now is to figure out why the original 256 MB RAM stick is not initialized. That old desktop computer only recognizes the new 512 card, but it is online and fully functional now.
