I had bad remnants of ABS/ASA being left behind on a textured PEI build plate and this build plate solved that issue for me. The other issue it largely resolved for me was adhesion. I was having trouble with engineering filaments sticking to other build plates. The only time I still have adhesion issues is when printing large items that cover 50-80% of the build plate.
