Upgrading to this 8 piece set is a real game changer. The wire strippers are fast, easy and efficient and even have an adjustable stop so you can set the length of the strip. The crimping tool itself is very cool. The jaws are interchangeable to tackle a variety of wire connector crimping tasks, and they are easy to exchange with the push of a tab. I did notice that a few of the jaw sets are a little tight in the slot of the tool, but it does not affect performance, just the ease at which they insert/remove when changing the style of the crimp you are performing. I feel a little lubrication such as graphite, or just time and usage may ease this minor inconvenience. The adjustable crimping pressure is also a nice feature, in that you can fine-tune the pressure you are applying to your crimp. Great when you might have a wire that is a little larger or smaller gauge for the connector you are crimping on to still get a nice consistent and strong crimp. I've attached a picture of the adjustment mechanism as I couldn't find any documentation on how to actually adjust, but it's fairly straight forward with crimp pressure ranging from 1-3, with 1 being the least pressure (compression), and 3 being the most - also requiring the most effort. Pull the adjuster out and turn it to point the number to the arrow/dot on the tool to set the desired pressure. Wiggle/twist it slightly to get the pins on the bottom of the adjuster knob to set back down into the tool. The wire stripper, crimper, and the interchangeable crimping jaws come in a convenient carry case that holds everything securely in it's place. It might be a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the tools, the practicality of the interchangeable crimp heads, and the convenient carry case makes it well worth it. Review: Needed them for an automotive project - The crimpers work great and the strippers worked just as good I like the adjustable setting on the strippers. Got them out of the package and the Jaws were not offset any they were straight.Took a little bit of getting used to where to adjust for different sized wires but all in all I'm very satisfied. ## Features - 【Complete 8-Piece Kit】Includes a ratcheting crimper, 6 interchangeable dies, a self-adjusting wire stripper and a hard case. Handles heat-shrink, insulated, non-insulated, open-barrel, ferrule, male/female and solar connectors. - 【3 in 1 Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper】Self-adjusting jaws and heat-treated alloy-steel blades strip 10–24 AWG solid or stranded wire. A built-in cutter and terminal crimper speed up wire prep, while adjustable pressure and strip length improve control. - 【Quick-Change, Secure-Fit Dies】Press the release tab on side to remove a die, then slide the next one into place. The side-locking design keeps each die securely seated and speeds up changes between terminal types. - 【Adjustable Crimping Pressure】Use the star-wheel dial to fine-tune crimping force for different terminals and wire sizes. Increase or decrease tension as needed for controlled, consistent results across wiring projects. - 【Full-Cycle Ratchet with Quick Release】The ratchet applies steady pressure through the crimping cycle, while the release lever opens the jaws early when needed. Cushioned ergonomic handles provide a secure, comfortable grip. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CMGXFRFH | | Best Sellers Rank | #50,909 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #164 in Crimpers | | Brand | haisstronica | | Brand Name | haisstronica | | Color | Yellow, black, blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 228 Reviews | | Grip Type | Ergonomic | | Handle Material | Nylon | | Included Components | Wire Crimping Tool Set | | Item Highlight | Full-Cycle Ratchet, Side-Release Jaw Lock, Adjustable Pressure Dial, Secure Fit, Electrical Projects | | Manufacturer | haisstronica | | Model Number | HX1706 | | Number of Items | 8 | | Set Name | Haisstronica 8PCS Rapid Replace Ratchet Crimping Tool Set | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** haisstronica - **Color:** Yellow, black, blue - **Grip Type:** Ergonomic - **Handle Material:** Nylon - **Number of Items:** 8 ## Images ![8PCS Quick Change Crimping Tool Kit, 6 Dies, Stripper - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718CV3HZz+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice set! *by J***Y on August 7, 2024* I always find myself doing various projects that involve wiring and I've typically used a hodge-podge of the generic tools you would find in a typical toolbox to accomplish wire-stripping and crimping tasks.
